The Bible tells us: John 3:19 And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. Rebellious mankind deny God because they don’t want to face the fact that they will be held accountable. They want to “do what thy wilt”. As Christians the thought of bowing in judgement is frightening not only for me and my loved ones, but for all who will face the wrath of God. 🙏💕 Ezra 8:22 The hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him. Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you.

I have. He had to think about it. You know what he came back and said? ‘I don’t care. I know it’s self refuting.’ I say people insist because if they can believe there is no objective truth, no one can be culpable and therefore no such thing as sin. Which is a sufficient blanket for them to throw over the elephant in the room.
@discobunny4eva7599 ай бұрын
But I think it’s even worse than that. The fact we can speak about it and understand each other even though we disagree, is proof there is objective truth. If that doesn’t work ask them if they know what sex or water is? It should be a short conversation but we like to rationalize.
@kennorthunder24289 ай бұрын
@@discobunny4eva759 If they don't care and know that's it's self refuting, then using their own logic against them, you can tell them "You are worthless, that's my truth". If they take offence, and who wouldn't, then you can tell them "In taking offence, you've proved my point". You actually feel this way BECAUSE you were created in the image of God who is the embodiment of truth and goodness.

I put the stake in the ground and decided the Bible and what God said is the real truth. People think my christian world view is crazy but I have like minded people in my life and I treasure God's truth! I thank God everyday for his word grace and love! God supplied what I need and I greatful. I am his , he made me and gave me purpose. Otherwise in my logical mind there is no reason for me to be here on planet earth! Amen to that last statement especially. I myself feel like I don't do enough for the kingdom. But you are correct, we are all not called to have a podcast....it is our daily lives that are to be ready to give the gospel. That's why it is most important to ask every morning for the Lord to have His will to be done. I find myself on the phone with Bill collectors, women in the vegetable section at the grocery store, bank tellers, so many, most of us are in agreement how awesome the Lord is, and its those few minutes we are glorifying The Lord in public, and it's in that public forum we are witnesses. We need to be very resourced so that we have a 'good set of cards ' when we start to engage. We have the upper hand in that we have the truth, but we need to be skilled in handling it. This podcast is one of the answers to prayer in rescuing children via the political front. Like going fishing- different bait for different fish and techniques for landing them. The goal is salvation, so looking for every opportunity to share the Gospel/good news. Changing society secondary, salvation primary. Fishers of men.

I really appreciate this particular podcast, especially for the way he ends it. Winsomeness has become an idol among many Christian leaders. Even to the point that being winsome with our opponents regarding truth is more important than the Gospel truth itself. In many ways we are repeating Germany prior to the entry of the Nazis, as Eric Metaxas points out. Larry focuses on the major issue confronting our culture which revolves around the ultimate truth and sovereignty of Jesus Christ.

Skarks and Australia have a history older than one event. After the movie Jaws Australians went crazy killing sharks. It was much later realised that hysteria was a disaster for ecological cycles. Their protection of the shark vs surfer was nuts, part of an over correction. Be it a shark or dog, attack a human... put it down.

Most people today do not seem to be interested and quickly change the subject. One has to seek and you will find. Nothing new here, in these last days the love of people will run cold and many will fall away - this is what scripture says. One can definitely see the falling away today. Anything goes and yes we as believers have to be ready with an answer of the GOOD NEWS and the BLESSED HOPE that is within us. Thank you JESUS foe redeeming us on the Cross.🙏❤️

I attend a conservative, protestant, church, where the teaching from the pulpit is biblically sound, and yet I am seeing worldly philosophies edging their way into this church. I am a senior citizen, and I am seeing fellow senior citizens , who have been in church all of their lives, either excuse or embrace these philosophies as part of a Christian life. My husband and I have both expressed our concerns. I want to actually join a fellowship of believers, and have searched our area for a more sound church, with no success. At this point, I remain an attender, rather than a member, because I cannot, in good conscience, whole heartedly, recommend this church as a truly sound fellowship, to others. My concern is that the wolves are creeping into the flock, while shepherds’ eyes are focused on ministry opportunities, but they are neglecting the protection of the purity of the gospel message. I expect this is happening in many churches today.

Ghost and the darkness. Similar idea. Two lions teamed up and had to be killed because they were getting alot of kills. Animals are smarter than people give them credit for, and seek revenge like humans would. Elephants are smart enough, same with tigers. Theres a real life story of a hunter than shot a tiger and it tracked him back to his cabin and waited for him to come out then killed him. some can be tamed with KZbin as proof on several animal species. Including sharks, lions, tigers, bears, etc. its the human trained ones that usually dont kill the humans. But caged animals arent the same as a pet trained animal. A lion at a zoo is highly likely to kill anyone that enters.
