Sir , I would like to learn about the Mark 14 : 60 - 63 and Daniel 7: 13 & 14 background behind it . Specifically the charges of blasphemy laid upon Jesus by High priest and sanhedrin on the identity of son of Man during second temple period .

A common pre-Christian understanding of Daniel 7 was that there were “Two Powers in Heaven,” that is, Yahweh himself and the Son of Man, a divine figure alongside Yahweh. This “Second Power” was identical with numerous other appearances of a divine figure in the Old Testament, who was called Glory, Word, Messenger, Power, Man of God, etc. In Mark 14, when Jesus says to the high priest, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven,” he is saying that he is the Second Power. He is the Son of Man, divine alongside Yahweh. That is why the high priest reacted the way he did. He knew that Jesus was saying, “I am divine. I am the Messiah.”

@@1517org Thanks, I watched it many times, it’s very helpful in seeing the God head! But if you could make a future video showing that the messiah will be The Angel of The Lord or God in flesh that would be the answer to my prayer!
