The style the game is made in is a pretty old and kindve hard one to master, so it was easier cost wise to do the show in a kinda different style

honestly the only characters designs adaptations that didn't change that much from the game to the series/Haven't changed in a way that bother are: • The CupBros: They just made the shape/size of the heads of them be the same • King Dice: Literally just made the clothes colors lighter • The domino "couple": only changed the shape of the eyes and a little of lipstick (thanks @Titanruler1020 for noticing the lipstick xD) • the bee cop (I honestly prefer the series design) • The chubby purple demon: Just changed the colors of the gloves

I really like this video but there was one thing you missed so in cuphead the milatary rat well in the last phase of the boss the giant cat there are these ghost rats and you can see one of them at the same part with the same ghost with the eyeballs it is located at the bottom left kinda

Nah. 1930s animation has a lot thicker lineart. The show's lineart is very thin which was popularized by modern shows like adventure time. Personally i don't like it.
