Optometrist from MS. Love the pod. LASIK is not always a good option. Glasses are like Nick said going to be tried and true. KB’s prescription is probably too mild to justify lasik. Also loved the dialogue on blindness. Variable experience for patients that classify as legally blind/blind.

KB sounds like he’s referring to severe macular degeneration/severe glaucoma. Severe macular degeneration rarely ends in total blindness. It causes central blindness. Still allowing the person to move through a room. Severe glaucoma however can end in total blindness but typically affects central vision last.
