Now that the earliest demo has dropped from the Wish Deluxe, this version just stands out even moreso in the tempo difference between this version, the album version, the "away" version from the T&C2 in January 1991, and that demo from 1990. I love seeing a song grow so much.

I've played this song on drums - but not at that tempo, damn! - it'd be sliding off the rails all over the place if I played it at that speed. But for the vocals they're basically a metal band here! 😁
