This has been one of my top 3 songs since i was 13 years old, circa '92. "your voice is dead, and old, and always empty...". mom wasn't sure what to think when i started putting posters of guys with makeup on my wall. but to their music (my "Dark Trilogy" will always be "Seventeen Seconds", "Faith", and "Pornography"). This song, in its crushing way, gave me faith.

this brings back so many memories of the "another excess" @ the kitkat in bayswater & the ballroom & feet first @ camden palace tuesday nights cure were always my FAV band ever the blood six different ways just one kiss Kyoto song faith homesick figurehead push all cats are grey god there are just so many amazing songs!! to many to mention But all equally as good as the one before & every one different than any other!!

Quite dry snare and hihat, opposite to the original, nevertheless equally amazing... Faith is a huge monument regardless the angle we stare at it...

awful awful drums...no depth, reverb ...just flat and ruins this recording imo. This has been a problem with The Cure since 1996. Im not blaming Cooper as its Smith who decides how things should sound, but his playing style is also lacking...too much emphasis on the 1st and 3rd beats of the high hat instead of equal on all 4 beats(sorry im being pedantic now)
