His voice is better in person than on a recorder song, I don’t know how he can possibly sing like this every night! Its just perfect. after decades of life listening to various styles of music and bands, not listening to some and listening again years later, I can say with certainty that The Cure is my favorite band. I listened to their songs so much in different years of life. It's probably the band I've listened to the most in my life, even though I haven't listened to it in many years. Nowadays I listen to it practically every day. There are so many good songs and I don't know any band like them. I also really like Radiohead and Arcade Fire (and Depeche Mode, The Joy Fomidable, Bloc Party, Paramore). If you have any more suggestions.

The key word here is "genuine". He is truly genuine in what he does, it all comes from the heart, you can tell in the emotion with which he sang the very first song. What band is not tired of touring after 4 decades, it's only natural, and yet here they are, as appealing as ever. I was fortunate enough to see them during their Disintegration tour, I don't need (or can!!!) explain what that was like........

The iconic voice that Smith has after all these years is quite amazing and I would rank his Cleveland show in my top 5 of all time....
