Can't say I am a typical fan of the cure but they sure sound great in this live performance. They have this distinguishing sound that gave them a well deserved place in pop history.

@@TCDB Another heads up. I grab BBC content from iPlayer using a little program called get_iplayer. I have grabbed everything to do with these concert(s). get_iplayer grabs by default (unless you want to downgrade) at iPlayer's highest bitrate. The Beeb use the aac codec for radio as well as the audio in videos. For the radio the aac bitrate they use is 320kb/s whilst the audio for the TV versions is 128kb/s. The geek in me just thought I'd mention this as maybe it might interest some people. I have made me own version of the whole thing. Using the Audacity audio editor I imported the 6 Music show followed by joining the Radio 2 show to the end and lastly the same with the Radio 2 encore so now I have a 25 track single file of all the live tracks.
