I have been loving Robert Smith since I was a Child. I grew up listening to The Cure's music and it has been for me the most valuable treasure I have had in my life. I am a true follower of the most beautiful music that exists over the world- The CuRE in Robert Smith is my love.

Saw them in the mid-eighties and don’t remember all the screaming. I stopped listening at Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me. Started at Head on the Door and went backwards. Play for Today and A Forest on my playlist. My teenagers think it’s weird, which is good. Bowie and Smith adorned the walls of my dorm room. My roommates began distancing themselves when I played XTC’s Dear God once too often. Morrissey whining from the turn table. 10:15 on a Saturday Night, Love Cats. Troubled girl. (WTF with the kazoos)

If I were a celebrity, I would have a policy that I don't do autographs. They are so pathetic. What does that really mean for a fan to have an autograph from a person who hasn't even really engaged with them or put any true interest in doing so?. They just wanna get it over with. Most celebrities hate this shit, as they should, because it's just about the fans wanting a piece of them. It's totally selfish on the part of fans.
@echo-trip-17 жыл бұрын
What did Robert say about it when you shared the idea with him?
@echo-trip-17 жыл бұрын
I think it's a great attitude. You like being a selfish squirm to the artists you admire? I don't.
@smellylorenny6 жыл бұрын
I agree. Signature is sooo pathetic not only selfish for the fan but also kind of elitist on part of the musician. Such a barrier of 'I'm famous and you're not' that I despise. Few artists I truly love I'd just want to be able to have a conversation with... express to them how much their music means to me, how I connect with what they write, I'd love for them to tell me about what mindset they are in at the time, how they are, what they think of something... Robert Smith would just be a dream to talk to. Unfortunately I fear I will never have that opportunity.
@qm15366 жыл бұрын
I’d give as many autographs as I could. If the fans want it, get to say hello, no skin off my back.It makes some fans day.
