Arrogance or pride is when an individual think too deeply about himself, and when he tends, moreover, to consider others as inferior to him, that is arrogance or pride. On the contrary, when one thinks of himself as small and insignificant is known to be modest and this characteristic is called modesty. When someone considers others as superior to himself that is called humility. Allah loves those who possess these great qualities and disliked those who in any case have the arrogance, watch this video to know more about arrogance and how you can overcome it.

@@rokeyahelal2447 same my bro. im rude, arrogant and selfish. i behave like a hypocrite. i know this will not get me anywhere in life. i want to change. I dont want to go to jahannam. Hypocrisy and arrogance are terrible attributes. These attributes will make u lose people who care about u. Im also not good at keeping promises. i break them. Brother my advice is just pray to Allah. Don't watch pornography. Think best of others and ask Allah for forgiveness. May Allah guide you and me. Ameen

Ask Allah for help, he will guide you insallah. Learn about Allah names and attributes, anout Allah's right to be worhipped and glorify Him a lot. Knowledge!

Salam alaikum brothers, i m all that and more of what is described in the lecture. I really wanna get rid of kibr i really do but i just cant control my tounge, when i try to control it the person from whom i am abstaining to bu harsh just keep pressing my buttons (or so i feel) and it juat blurts out. I swear a lot too but i have noticed that many times when i try to speak softly with people they just ignore me more ( i know i shouldn't let that bother me) but as it is i m a very outspoken person in addition to that i get angry at a super sonic speed so for me to control then it is sooo difficult, and almost then every time like 8 out of 10 time i regret it. Please brother give an solution to it if there is one in accordance with quraan or sunna. I really am very scared for my akhira... so please dear brothera and sisters please prat for me , and inpray to my rabb and beg him to take out this from my heart and all of yours too 🙏

i think the arrogance in deed begin when you look down on somebody who don't pray as much as you or miss fast etc. And you thought that you better than them in doing deed. hope you'll understand my english.

Yes there could be a person who prays a lot and is still arrogant. You may ask why? Well its because its not just about praying, its about praying for Allah and Allah ONLY. An arrogant person might think ''oh wow I pray 5 times a day now I am a better muslim than you for sure'' but the sad reality is that the arrogant person might not be 100% praying because he wants to worship Allah, rather it could be because of attention and trying to make people think that he is such a good muslim, when he may not be at all. Indeed, he may argue that he didn't say that, but its the intention from the heart that matters, and only Allah knows what the truth is.
