Most of these probably not, aside from aleksey.
@Edgarisftw5 жыл бұрын
@@zachthetrashpowerlifter1562 Yeah but that's the thing. It's so hard to compare one fed to another. Especially like Ipf compared to some backyard federation. Some people might say I'm an elitist or what ever but honestly I don't think ipf standard meets should be compared to any other, I don't even care if the ipf lift is heavier like it is for Taylor Atwood for example. The rules, judging, equipment etc are so far apart its just seems stupid to compare the two.
@zachthetrashpowerlifter15625 жыл бұрын
@@Edgarisftw thats good and well and i semi agree with you but you just cant call yourself a powerlifter then if you only recognize the IPF. I agree with everything your saying and i think powerliufting needs to be more regulated. Standard weigh in time Same Bars across all feds which i belive should be DL Bar Squat Bar Power Bar Calibrated comp spec plates All squats Walked out All judging held to a standard get rid of the dumb IPF rules like shirts on under singlets. feet flat, head flat. Which really have ZERO reason to be a fucking rule Unfortunately this will probably never happen so the leats you can do is hold yourself accoutnable and to a standard. IN the grand scheme tho IPF has some really dumb rules and isnt the only strict federation
@Edgarisftw5 жыл бұрын
@@zachthetrashpowerlifter1562 I'm not saying the other feds don't mean anything or that I only recognize IPF. I'm just saying that it's not fair in any way comparing different totals performed in different feds, for example Ray Williams total tend to be compared alot to untested wrapped, deadlift bar totals. There is plenty of lifters that previously competed IPF/USAPL and did not perform nearly as well as they do now that they switched federations (Yuri Belkin, Ben Pollack, John Haack).
@zachthetrashpowerlifter15625 жыл бұрын
John haack was successful in the IPF just FYI and obviously comparing wrapped to sleeves is dumb because it’s a different category but you can compare a raw sleeved total in RPS to a total in The IPF sand it is by all means fare as long as the lifts were judged properly you can’t just blanket statement say that you can’t compare IPF to anything.
