The current state of CarX...

These are the things CarX players currently hate in the game. Most importantly we need new proper drift maps added into the game. I know the devlopers are busy with CarX Streets, but they've been busy with that for years. Also CarX Street did get delayed 2 days ago as well. Let me know what you think should change in CarX Drift Racing in the comments!

game engineer knows, customization needs a lot of editing boundaries & pin point which gonna took a while to do in large sized map. Up for this, but hope they can make it stable & safe. Then, talkin bout safe, it'd be some bugs, but let's say we never know what to fix until we found the broken, look forward to it later...

What I would like to see in carx: -Tune presets (saving tunes and loading them when needed) -Keeping multiplier when doing a 360 -better Steering animations in first person (the hand look really weird) -idk if its possible but peer-to-peer or self-hosted servers (Servers running on your local pc, maybe that could be more reliable) -Bigger Servers, (Currently only 16 people can join, and I think it could be a bit more, but not too much since the maps would have to be bigger)

I like that they added engine swaps, but I didn't realize that once I could unlock it, I could only put it in one vehicle before I have to unlock it AGAIN. SHOULD be one and done when it comes to unlocking them

FOR CARX STREET .Cars to be added to take advantage of different areas in city/ Offroad tires should be added to tuning shop next to street and racing tires •Indian Rt- Jeep TrackHAWK •Taurus- BMW x5/6 •MK1/2 •Thor E8 •Syberia SWI- Subaru Impreza •Alpha L37 •Quad S2 •Honda s2000 & addition of many other Cars already present within the CarX brand( Maybe even UTV for offroad. They are street legal here in Florida). Custom races- allow players to challenge other players in lobby. Set custom waypoints through city ie start @ gas station in suburb, through highway, around the Eiffel and back. Custom races will prolong life of game •Custom interior- interior could be more detailed along with options to customize it whether change color or layout of interior. Radio should dynamically display in game music. Also dashboard should be dynamic, all cars display same 300km/h and 10k RPM. When headlights turn on at night the dashboard should be lit as well. Also allow for underglow along with color options. Dynamic rearview/side mirror for races •livery shop- ability to create custom liveries & option to share as well (CarX Drift 2) More layers as well, more layers allows for more creativity & original liveries •More refined engine sounds. Some cars still have high pitched noise from turbo. Some cars sounded better a few updates ago. •Communication- a system that allows players to communicate via emotes and or text whether they are online or "offline." Ability to add/block players & a friend list. From same menu you could challenge other players to races or challenges. Even a voicechat may be nice if implemented well. •Clubs importance- Clubs can be used for weekly events similar to CarX Drift Racing 2, players could have option to join club to race against other clubs for dominance of area in the city or Mountain Dr. Players can replay events until the end of event at which they are rewarded cash & gold if their team wins that event. Reward is based upon performance in the event similar to CarX Drift Racing 2 (longer youre in lobby, the more points you will more likely accumulate before leaving server) The more you replay said event the more likely you will receive a bigger payout & effect the outcome of your team winning the event. This also gives players another option in grinding for funds in game. •Controller Support- dont mind using accelerometer but know some ppl seriously game on mobile devices. Wheel support & controller support should be present & tested before the release of PC version •Multiple Tunes for one car- depending on if its a time attack, drift race, or offroad event, multiple tunes should be available for one car to choose from (Similar to CarX Drift Racing 2) •Proper engine specs- would love to see 11,000 RPM for the Hachi Roku.

They could even just expand off of some of the .aps they already have too. Pacific hills I believe has an AWESOME little "out of map" section that actually has a highway and off ramps and a big spiral off ramp that has like 4 layers lol. It's sooo fun but barely anyone knows about it, I almost forgot that you can also drift the big mountain that has the windmills on it!! It's really narrow and fun. Only downside is the colossians with objects is alittle messed up because they never polished up that section and you can fall off the road and can't really get back on.. but it's still fun lol. LA block also has the highway outside of the map you can easily get to and drift on that or under it and it has a few fun lines I've found myself. More people need to try getting to these spots and trying them out. It's hard getting out of some of the maps boundaries but not the 2 I just mentioned. Those are really easy and I could show anyone that really wants to know

I've asked the developers about adding in modders maps, they said it's not possible at all, the devs would have to remake the map from scratch 😢 I think that yeah an in-game map editor is what we need most! 🤞

It is all having to do with money. They are fucking greedy now. They have made more than enough money to optimize ALL of the current games they have out. They want NFS to fail so they can, wait for it....cash in on it and thats just fucking sad. They need to just stay in their lane lol

thats not true. as a map creator, i can tell u that they have to convert them. yes. they need to load the map into unity and they have to change things like the cameras and the folder structure. for the different types of physic meshes. they dont need to build them new from scratch. they said it because they dont want it. if they would do it, the community would realize that the modders doing a better job than the devs. look at assetto. its the perfect example for what i mean. BUT a game with full mod support is the best they could do...

On the Logitech G920, there's setting misssing in the advanced settings tab. Like steering assist, for a new player is increadibly annoying to spin as soon as you clutchkick or pull the handbrake.

i dont know who told u the story @Goosiest :D ...but yes its true. we contacted the devs more than a half year ago and asked them to implement our map (Yama ga Tomaranai) officially into the game for all. we told them that we dont want anything for it and we would give them all rights for it. but there was no interest. i dont understand it. everything on the map (except 2 deco objects) were built by ourselves. but they just passed us around like a cheap bottle of alcohol until we talked with the same dev a second time... without a result. thx btw that u used our map in your vids. i like to watch ur vids^^

Nice video! Personally the audio bug is way worse for me. The sound jumps between silent and ear blasting loud constantly to the point where I often play with no sound for the sake of my eardrums.

what would work too is a own ingame mod support like in farming simulator. they implemented their own mod site into the game which is synchronized between consoles and pc. so u can download and use what ever u want. and if u join a server it will download everything u need.

here's some suggestions 1 Updated cars a lot of cars don't have a lot body kit options like the s14 or the mark 2 jzx100 n 90 2 headlight bulbs color we can change the tint but say if someone wants blue headlights aka LED we should have that option 3 this might be in the next update but dashboard customization like on mobile like we should be able to change our interior speedometers and gauges like on that dlc d1 s15 has

Id also love there to be a car customization/tune save spaces like on mobile. Like i can have different bodykits,paints,liveries,and tunes for one car without having to change the paint for a livery without having to put stickers to change the car’s color for a different livery. Also so if i want a different bodykit for a race/grip setup or a drift setup.

There's a way around the freecam audio bug, press F3 and use that freecam and the audio is the same. But yeah the devs should fix the normal freecam still 👍

Things I'd love to see added. 1. Proper steering inputs on controller, steering right while your tire point left is just plain goofy... at the very least allow us to adjust the sensitivity if no steering assist is used. 2. Controller vibration, I want to feel the car, not just when I make contact with something. 3. The ability to buy more then one of each car, I have millions with nothing to spend it on. 4. Better paint tools, give me the ability to create my own vinyls in a way similar to the Forza games instead of having to do everything on the car, let us save and share these with the community. 5. Let us save tunes.... 6. Stop rotating my camera while I'm modifying my car (this is incredibly frustrating). 7. Better online stability 8. Improve the top 32, add decel zones etc to prevent people from trying to cause contact and overtakes... Something needs to change with the "judging", penalties should be added to people that sandbag (brake checking at the start etc...). These are just things that would immediately improve my experience and would have me playing FAR more, specifically number 1...

The top things for me are these 2: - driving and the car shakes subtly from left to right before you reach a top speed - the motion graphics on the wheels when they spin, i'd like to actually be able to see the 'reverse-motion effect' on the rims when drifting

I found that the engine sound bug it can be fixed by just lowering the engine sounds of other players. I used to hate when my car sounds would cut out because they would almost never come back, so I lowered players car engine sounds and I never had that problem again. Also something I thought would be cool is having multiples of the same car so you can have different tunes/engines on.

That's the part I hate. Good game overall with the potential to be one of the best car games out there. Let me explain what I mean. Imagine that I want a pink livery set up, but I painted my car green for some reason. Some parts of my car will be green, like the Side mirrors or the spoiler. And now you will say… but you can go to paints and change each part color individually!…. Yeah! But what happens If I need to create another livery with different colors?

Probably could use -free drone style camera like with mods, to use in replay and real time online -impliment a real method of getting money instead of sweating rx8 west coast arena -drivetrain swaps ? -Livery sharing online -HP, drivetrain and car tune restricted servers (similar to tyre grip), so I can finaly have balenced cars. -and a thinner road hills map, initial D -ish so can we get proper japanese touge drifting. So, if I may add something to the livery section of the video. The reason they aren't adding more layers to liveries is because their livery compression straight up sucks. There is a mod called Livery Tools Extender, on the ZML mod loader, and allows you to go up to 1000 layers. And this is where join lag comes into play for lobbies as well, because of how much their livery compression sucks, the more layers you have on your car, the more it's going to lag the lobby. If they would improve their livery compression, instead of it looking so pixely all the time, more layers would be so much more comfortable to add.

My Personal List Of Stuff That Needs Fixing ASAP In CarX - Ingame chat randomly dies - Server lag spikes and if they have time a new server menu that looks cleaner for the eyes to see - Workshop cars lag the game or they are glitched - Make workshop rims something that everyone can see and if implemented make it not laggy - Make engine swaps either unlocked without a challange or one challange to unlock a specific engine on all cars - Engine sound bug needs fixing, ive played for many years and thousands of hours and i remember it was a thing ages ago aswell and still isnt fixed - In the carx discord create a channel where map creators can put their maps and once every like month carx devs pick a map they think is good - Add more camera customization like being able to adjust where a camera is located on every different camera and also ofcourse add roofcam - Better graphics without a graphics mod or just let us adjust the sunlight manually on a slider - Let server creator be able to kick anyone and give the same power to anyone in the server - Rework all the cars. Rework how the body looks, the interior and how some cars feel. They did great on the s13 rework and if they want to they can contact workshop modders - Livery and tune sharer with options for Controller, keyboard or wheel assist or no assist aswell as what rotation and for both tunes and liveries add a searchbar - Add more layers to the livery system. Theres already a mod that brings it to like 500 but thats only for you and not the other players - Working drag lights on drag maps and adding maybe a system that tells who wins the drag race - I didnt know about this but goosiest said something about free cam sound glitch which can be annoying for streamers and people making edits - Make a highway map with working AI or make AI that map creators can put on their maps

i think id be fun to actually have a drift racing mode for players who like the idea of rolling up and challanging other players to a drift race who has the faster car on the hair pin turns who can pass the other player and reach the finish 1st. i think that would bring in the whole outlaw drift racing in japan right here. and it would remind me of one of my fave games i almost flunked out of high school in 2005 Tokyo extreme racer drift 2 (really i tired to 100% all the TXR games on PS2 not just the one game) maybe its because im on keyboard but im only smooth in a tandem 2 ways. upfront going all out or in back in the chaos i want to be able to max attack not slow 90s and snore fest. 90s oh joy i have to forcably limit my car to a gear just to play with people on keyboard its f-ing hard to be smooth in tandem lots of brake clutch and ebrake because we dont have that throttle control or brake control is just full gas or full brake these milisecond brake throttle and hydrobrake taps just to keep in line sucks after 4 rounds your hands hurt or cramp. OH OH or how about players can turn off or on collisions so new folks can practice not get in the way in servers in sessions with other players. so you can practice tandems not get in the way of others learn how it works and then join in full collision when they feel ready or lean how others drivers drive and copy that drivers moves as well.

The reason why console players delayed is wireless connection. Today all users use Wi-Fi for smartphones, pc, tv and other devices. And this is create a queue of devices for getting packages. And routers communicate with each other for resolving signal conflicts.

Hey goosie tysm for this video homie i love this game and you hit EVERY single itch i cant scratch! As a newer player who got my best friend into this game, him and i are struggling with builds and learning the proper drift setups. Make it so we can see players tunes and stats so we can tweak our own or even have a private option so its straight download and drift without knowing lol. 200 layers?… ew… lets make it like 2,500 plzzzz forza would cry and id like that hah thx again for the video and plz carx devs notice me and goosie… the whole damn community thats on XBOX who had to wait since me bestie has PC

Just throwing this out there, but if you (developers) are going to put vehicles with a 7 speed transmission, make it possible to map 7th gear as well. 6th gear is limit.

I would like to see bigger maps more cars and make it easier to unlock the engine mods if people don't have online or if they have bad internet

i just recently got back into car x, and didnt notice anything different. a few new cars, and that was it. its great they are working on a new title, but they should still be improving car x drift.
