i think what they have here is a repair port for ships ...a dry dock so to speak makes sense all the axes and hammers and natural resources to repair vessels ..is there treasure? possibly..the tunnels etc could be flood gates for the swamp area to refloat ships
@tallyhorizzla33303 жыл бұрын
Sounds right to me. I assume it's called Oak island for a reason and what did they make ships out of way back then? Oak of course. Doesn't look like there are any large oak trees left on the island so that's probably why.

I hope that even after they find the treasure, someone stays behind to check out what else is on the island. Yes the treasure is cool, but I think the smaller things they are finding are very interesting and equally as important to the history of our world. There’s so much more value in the knowledge of what happened than just the treasure. Even then, I hope that someday when the treasure is found, it’s displayed somewhere for us all to see. You can learn so much about past cultures and humanity just by looking at their treasure. I love this show so much!!

Sabrina Damron There is certainly some interesting history to this island, something has drawn people there for centuries, and I have a really hard time believing it would strictly be to deposit treasure. With the historical finds they are making, it seems to point towards an occupation at possibly many times in history or even a continued stay. Given the accepted history of North America, there sure seems to be a lot that runs contrary to that on Oak Island, and I also would like them to learn all they can about this islands past.
@davejay154 жыл бұрын
Sabrina. I agree with you. This is way bigger than the treasure. There s some serious history here. And we know nothing about it. What really caught my attention was the line from Jerusalem through the Versailles right to Noland cross. At one time France was the center of the early Church. CATHOLIC .I find it fascinating oak island is involved in some way to this. What if oak island is the repository of the most scared things of the church. That s a heavy thought eh. Cool too . Dj

An important find on Oak Island! A piece of a cast iron stove has been discovered. Could it be that it came from the captains cabin of a treasure ship? If so. How did it get here and why wasn't the rest of the stove found? Is it possible that coal might have been burned in it? Is it connected to the piece of coal found on the stone road? Could it have belonged to Samuel Ball? Did it come from his house?

What they should do is LIDAR the whole island and then look for targets. LIDAR lets you more or less remove the trees and foliage(not literally just digitally) and then you can see the contours of the ground. It has been used very effectively by archaeologists to discover structures hidden by dense foliage. Find your targets then check them out.

Maybe It was a mine. Welsh miner dig vertical pits. American mine do in horizonal. For some reason, some one thought there was minerals worth mining. Digging down this deep would be no problem for Welsh miners. Of course the miners would know how to set the timbers for the mine. The miners dug down so deep that the mine flooded with water, and quit mining. The pit was dug to extract minerals, and not bury gold.
@STePHeN320_124 жыл бұрын
Well with all the soil sampling why haven’t any of the so called minerals been detected? They literally are always sending their soil samples to labs. So if what your saying is true they would of noticed whatever mineral you say they were chasing/mining and came to that conclusion. But they haven’t so I can’t buy what your saying. Is their treasure there I don’t know. But I seriously doubt its a mine

Hey Question. Does the island have big stones scattered around . If not then those large stones at the high ground were brought in. 1 for what purpose 2 why place them there. 3 how did they move them there. 4 could it have been say a light house or some sort of identifying marker. Being on the highest area of the island is no coincidence. Maybe the serpent like stone stricture also a puller or some sort of tipped over marker. Just a thought. Guys. Is there any way you can let the info you ve gathered be downloaded so people like me can just sit and look at all the info in one place. Just a thought. I keep thinking how close Erin's 522 ft line comes to the tar pit. And how it s noted as a possible tunnel entrance. To much of a coincidence in my book. How about revere engineering as it were Erin's lines. Go 1065 ft off of other markers Where is Erin coming up with her initial 40 degrees. Could there be another reference stone that denotes what 40 degrees is. I agree that 1065 feet crossing over the bottom leg of the cross is quite intriguing. Just a thought. Also. Could the platform found in the swamp be a covered bridge over the void in the swamp. A bridge with a tunnel underneath it. You cot enough blue clay around to waterproof a tunnel. Could ships pass over the pad area without dragging. . Come on everybody. Start thinking . Someone's got a theory that ll click . There s way to much stuff going on here . As the team goes farther into this . more and more evidence is coming to light. We re getting closer. Guys. Do you think the Vatican archives would have any documentation on this. If the Knight Temples were indeed involved in this. Then there is a connection to the Catholic church. Most of Europe was influenced by the Church. So there's got to be some info available to help shed some light on this. Dj

Hey guys. Just watched the latest episode where Erin has a theory as to the whereabouts of the chamber Question. Does the tunnel line travel under the paved area in the swamp. That could explain the purpose of the Paved area . Close to the ships. Did the ships have a boom that could swing out on front of the ship to lower stuff onto the paved area or even right down a shaft... no Derrick needed then. Just solid ground for personal. The tunnel would have to be deep. How deep was the harbor. At least 50 ft if I remember. Also if the harbor was open water at one time. Wouldn t the base of the harbor be level and very clean like the water south of the harbor. A perfect on grade gravel area for a tunnel . Sounds crazy. But what if they had some sort of way to bring a ship into the harbor. Close off the water source and the drain the harbor to access the tunnel a canal from the top of the harbor. Could a ship be parked on a level surface in that harbor if it were drained. Question. Noland cross has all of the points that mark the end points of the cross. Except the one on the long leg of the cross. Thats odd. Why would you have 2 stones in close proximity to each other. There was no need for that stone. . And how close is the tar pit structure to her tunnel line. What if 40 degrees isn t 40 degrees. WhT if its 40 degrees off of a marker could the tunnel cross under the tar pit. Or maybe that odd stone in the long leg of the cross is something. . Wouldn t target be the perfect way to hid an access door to the tunnel. Does the target have a level floor. Does it angle down like a ramp. I can t imagine you got a 1500 foot tunnel that guys hauled stuff up from the original money pit. I think this tunnel is also a flood tunnel. Why would you go 522 ft then turn. Could the turn be where a shaft could be. To find the chamber years later they would have to have precise dead nuts coordinates . Thats why I think they wouldn t have stretched out the tunnel put an angle on it to make location even more difficult. Could the chamber be at the turning point at 522 ft and the access tunnel is at the stone on the long leg of the cross.. it just seems to me that going under or through the harbor would be an awful lot of work. Just my thoughts. That marker stone on the long leg of the cross is perplexing. Dj
