I think its a great show! Yes, I am getting weary waiting for them to find gold. But Rick and Marty seem very sincere in their efforts and thats what makes it interesting. I can't imagine the treasure still being there after all these years, but it is fun just watching them uncover all of the old artifacts. I will keep watching.

I think the curse refers to active searchers on site. If you're considering Mr Blankenship & Mr Nolan,who were both retired from actively pursuing the treasure, then you might as well consider all the people involved in the search over the last 2 centuries. I don't think the curse would include them

Hey guys. Curse is just hearsay I believe. Sombody has started it . But,the oak island partners do not consider the supposed curse is linked to the deaths of the retired oak island veterans (rip) whatsoever,if indeed there is such a curse- by that,it would mean accidental deaths occurring while in active search,or down a shaft for eg. The oak island Lagina brothers and their team,are asking not to link and make assumptions to mr Blankenship or mr Nolan,as its a very sensitive thing to say as they were considered family to the team. 👍🙏🏻

That rich farmer who was a military man comes to mind as someone who cleaned a lot out, also the various searchers over the years didnt want to report the find and have to pay taxes and get involved with the ancient artifact committee at the museum....just sell it to the stone cutters and masons...although they have been keenly interested over the years themselves and likley got a lot of it out of there first hand. Lots of it probabaly has already been looted if not everything.

@@alexrankin2481 IT is intriguing, but you obviously havent been following the history...they really have gone 90 feet down adn found the different levels, uncovered parchment and human bone that far down, and just this week as indicated, found operational flood tunnels that were proven man made.....all the facts are real....whether there is anything of worth that hasnt already been recovered or looted is the only question, not whether somebodywent through an awful lot of trouble to fide something....that much has been proven and is obvious to anyone following the story. The real money pit is the producers (and the Liginas bank accounts, which I'm sure grow fatter by the day.

I have enjoyed watching this show from the beginning. IF I may give a few tips: RECORD it, and fast forward through all the rehash and the "oohh, let's call Rick, we found a rock" parts. This gets each show down to about 20-25 min of real new info. History has according to the commercials, "the most popular entertainment show on cable". This is going to kill the show because they will milk the cash cow for all it's worth. Drag it out with much filler and worthless information. Which will turn off viewers.

I too am exhausted hearing the constant questions!! A few items of concern that maybe someone can help me with, am I correct in saying that in over 200+ years of searching that no-one has found any items of significant monetary value that the public is aware of? I completely understand the artifacts of historical value and the establishment of a time line. I have been researching on a part time basis this story and I have a sinking feeling that Samuel Ball found the treasure in whole or part and there is nothing remaining in the Money Pit. Now could he have moved it and buried it closer to his lots? possible. I know we have to have a TV show hat goes on and on, but i find it hard to believe that we can send a spacecraft beyond Mars but don't seem to have ground penetrating sonar that can go to 250/300'.

The gold belongs to the Tallano family, one of the Rulers of the Majapahit Empire, the gold came from there, to King Solomon, to Europe and to the Americas. But these people still continued building the facility as a bluff, so everyone thinks there's gold. They ended up abandoning the gold standard in 1971 and switched to Petrodollar.

The money pit was the first recovery of the treasure. The oak layers were just like modern day scaffolding. This is why ONLY pieces of stuff have been found. How do you put a 6ft wide pipe down. Dig everything out of the center and only ever get a piece of something. And never the rest of it? Because that's all that's left. The rest was moved long ago.

@@Marsbonfire007 Here's the story as I heard it in a Discovery Channel Documentary that was made and aired in 1997 pursuant to the Canadian government involvement by the Geological Survey of Canada at Oak island with the research vessel "Plover" mapping and examining the underwater seabed of Mahone Bay adjacent to Oak Island---- "The box drains were discovered beneath the man-made beach at Smith's Cove when the Truro Company came to Oak Island in 1849 and, over the next 50 years subsequent to the box drain discovery, three more major attempts were made to locate the 'treasure'. Twenty shafts and many tunnels were dug--- each with no success. Two men had been killed while working in the excavations. A superstition emerged at that time (in 1897) that seven people would die before Oak Island would give up its secret".---- It has always been understood that this legend/superstition applied to people who lost their lives while actively involved in the diggings/excavations/search. As of now, six (6) have been killed on Oak Island while actively engaged in the search.

@@Marsbonfire007 The "curse" is nothing more than a legend or superstition that was fabricated after the second Oak Island death in 1897. Of course there was no mention of a "curse" left by the depositors because no one knows who placed "whatever it is" deep in the Money Pit, or what exactly was placed there or when it was placed there. For all we know, and from bathymetric map revelations made by the research done by the Geological Survey of Canada in the 1990's, "whatever it is" might have been placed beneath Oak Island in a cavern nearly two thousand years ago via several "then" exposed, high and dry cave entrances/niches when sea levels surrounding Oak Island were lower than they are today. I have long-believed that "whatever it is" deep in the Money Pit is a religious tomb of somebody VERY PROMINENT in history, quite possibly placed there by the Templars.
