I love the Curse of Oak Island. It's teaching me to be in great expectation and keep the faith. No arguing, no fighting, no backstabbing, simply no drama on this reality TV show.

And this treasure wasn't even found in the Money Pit, just in some dirt on the other side of the island. Who knows exactly how much money they've spent, but to think all the treasure found was done with a hand-held metal detector.

Ironic isn't it, they spend millions digging huge deep holes and don't really find anything, Gary comes along with his metal detector and gets good results at a depth of 6". All the brothers find are tiny titbits from the hammer grab. Here's a tip for you, stop letting Jack blast the spoils table with that high power fire hose, and your finds and bits of parchment might be a bit bigger.

It gets me the millions of dollars and modern equipment looking for treasure 100ft down that they honestly think someone hid hundreds of years ago with a shovel.

It's not just about the possibility of finding treasure but why and by whom the whole 'Money Pit' was constructed. Admittedly, the show is becoming increasingly boring. If it wasn't for the metal detecting expert they would have barely anything to show for all their efforts. I honestly cannot wait for this show to end - Seven series and basically nothing to show for it. All those involved with the making of this show should be ashamed of themselves - they are feeding the gullible.

@Steven Hickman this show is all staged just like dam near every show the discovery channel and history channel does nowadays. Look at treasure quest that whole show was staged and only a fool can't see that. No treasure has ever been found on or around oak island
@GoatzombieBubba5 жыл бұрын
@@rainmayhem4255 Who paid you to say that?
@nielsbruls60615 жыл бұрын
@@rainmayhem4255 it is not staged, but the real search (not only for treasure) is made into this show and ofcourse history channel has to make them more exciting about small findings but also these little chats with them where they say things like: " I believe this is a piece of the oak island treasure." Etc. So it's real, no questions about that.

'Tonight, on Oak Island nothing much happens, just like the previous episodes.' Why the History Channel constantly draws out each episode is beyond me when it could all be done in 20 minutes. And what is with the continue back referencing of the same facts within the same episode. Does the History Channel think its viewers have the memory and attention span of a goldfish? Moreover, the original narrator should be sacked with his annoying up-inflections ' WOOD! In the tunnel?' Yes, what a surprise - now give it a rest why don't you? Lastly, whoever decided that the flickering effect on the archive and reconstruction videos was a good idea also needs to be sacked - haven't you heard of PSE (Photo-Sensitive Epilepsy) which not only induces fits but is bloody annoying for normal viewers (Yes. I said normal viewers - I don't care much for PC nonsense).

Hahah!!! The history channel narrator: “Brothers, Rick and Marty Lagina recently found dirt on oak island, could it be Templar dirt? After 250 years, Have they found the lost dirt of the Templars? Rick, Marty and the other oak island team members have made an incredible discovery, but what does it mean?” PS . Bro you totally said what I was thinking almost to the T.
