Nice to see some young tkd content creator other than the typical one like Aaron Cook etc.! And much more compatible for lower level competitors! I think most of the people learn really fast how to throw a cut kick. I personally would be more interested about the strategic use of the kicks. I think especially for lower level athletes who don't compete that much and hence don't have so much experience it is more important

Agreed. I think people learned, and will learn the cut kick fast using this video or other methods. However, we frequent tournaments on both the local level and high level with our own athletes and sometimes just to spectate, and only see people using one type of cut kick. Not only that, but also executing it improperly. Especially at the local level. This video is primarily meant to shed light on those mistakes while also showcasing the other types of cut kicks we rarely see used. But you’re right, strategy is important, and is definitely on the list of things to cover. We just feel technical instruction before strategy takes precedence. Also, listen to our podcast; The TKD Lab available on all platforms. That’s really the medium we use to discuss strategy and usages with world class athletes and coaches.
