“Sometimes life doesn’t go according to plans. But it can still be a beautiful moment from God, a beautiful gift from God if you have the eyes to see.” These are the perfect words to describe Brittany and John’s wedding.
Last year, we didn’t know that we would be filming a small backyard wedding in Lakewood Illinois, but even though things didn’t go according to plans, Brittany and John’s wedding was truly a beautiful moment. Thunderstorms were forecasted all day and we crossed our fingers that the rain would hold off through the ceremony. Right before the ceremony, the sun came out and the rest of the day was nothing less than perfect. Brittany and John were the sweetest couple with a beautiful love story. All anyone could say about them was that they are the perfect match and it was not hard to see.
This is a hard season for a lot of couples and sometimes it can feel like the wedding day is being compromised, but Brittany and John’s wedding just goes to show how special it can be even if you don’t have as many as people as you thought you would have or the venue you thought you would be in.
We are so happy for Brittany and John and we wish them happiness for years to come!
