Happy Friday Princess Lacey and her gorgeous fur mama Diane. 🥰 Miss Lacey is getting a brisk exercise upstairs and all around her cozy and peacefully relaxing boudoir equipped with cooling pad, hydrating water and nutritiously scrumptious snacks. Her bedroom also boasts a fabulous view of the backyard, where Koi fishies and baby birds abound. The soothing sounds of the cascading waterfall adds to the serenity and the humongous striking yellow Koi fish is incredible to observe thriving with the rest of the Koi fishes. A feast for the eyes as well as the senses. Hey Kerri! Lacey has always had some sort of routine, I never had a dog that did this before. She does change it up sometimes though. I have always been amazed by that 😉 When we had our house built and before we moved in, the pond guy came over and we showed him around. When he was upstairs looking down from our back stairs, he said that he knew exactly where he wanted to build our pond. It is neat to be able to see it from upstairs too. The baby birds do sound sweet. The parents are very small gray birds, I don’t know what type they are. Well, hope that you enjoyed your days off and have a wonderful rest of the week with Stu, Bailey and Belle ❤️❤️😘🤗❤️❤️

Lacey is gently doing the rounds of her upstairs rooms and getting a bit of exercise thrown in for free, which will result in her being worn out and ready for a good nap. It's Lacey's nice and take it easy work-out routine... and you get a great view over to the pond waterfall too. Perfect. Lacey has it all worked out, and we get to share those moments. Precious❤ I was thinking about the lack of frogs🐸 around the pond this year and maybe it's down to the drier weather and the frogs having to keep moist in more hidden places under logs, plants and stones and keeping out of the sun. But yes, it could well be hungry racoons🦝 being typically opportunistic. It's been relatively warm here (well, warm for Scotland) 23C/75F with occasional heavy rain here and there. Definitely needs more rain though. Have a wonderful weekend and hope you get some nice garden weather to hang out outside. Lots of love and a big hug for Lacey🐶😍🤗💗

I am so pleased that Lacey can still get around 😊 It may tire her out after she makes her morning rounds, but then she really enjoys a nice long nap 😴 The lack of frogs for the first time has us a bit stumped. We do have garter snakes that catch the frogs by their leg sometimes and we do try to rescue them as best we can. Maybe that has something to do with it. We really don't have any other water sources near us. Although we do have a neighbor two houses over that has a small pond. I will have to go see if they have frogs this year 🐸 It hasn't been too warm here lately and we are finally having some much needed rain 🌧 Have a wonderful weekend, Uncle John and Lacey sends lots of love and hugs back to you! 💛🤗🤗💛
