Hello, please as an international student that can do menial part time job such as cleaning, kitchen porter, warehouse how do we infuse work experience relating to these jobs into cv cuz obviously cleaning cannot be our recent experience as we were working before moving overseas. Pls guide on this. Can I put old working experience as most recent work with older date on my cv. If I had worked as cleaner sometimes in the past.

In my opinion, work experience for menial jobs can be placed as recent experience because it’s not something that you stop doing. You can have separate CV with different experience for each job role that you are applying to.

1. You don’t need to change it. That’s the essence of the section for PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY. You can tailor the professional summary to fit the role you are applying to. 2. If you started the role in Dec 2020 and you are still working, you can use “Dec. 2020 - Present”
