Fontaine makes me feel like I'm going insane even moreso than usual with Genshin lore (which is saying something). I'm connecting threads that I'm not sure are meant to be connected especially with the Narzissenkreuz Ordo, Dottore, Celestia, the Primordial Sea, Egeria and Furina, the Moon Sisters, Arlecchino, even Paimon. I feel like I'm unraveling.

Out of topic but have y’all played the world quest where this caterpillar kid with pale skin but has a black color on his hands turns out to be a Hillichurl, he was seen as a “Wolf in a Lambs clothing”. Meanwhile… Arlechhino has the similar situation, pale skin, dark ends on the hands and is called as a “Wolf in a sheep’s clothing “ by Childe. Could Arlechurl be possible?…

@@starlight14673 Unless Dottore actually is Rene, I doubt it. It is much more likely that Rene would be behind Arlecchino if she is the same as Caterpillar, since Rene seem to be the one who created Caterpillar and turned Jacob into an Abyssling.

1. arlecchino only has her hands looks black like soot. 2. cater was created by a master called narzissenkreuz mage aka rene. many speculated that cater is actually carter. if anything that can relate the two, most probably the theory regarding both of them were the orphan from that same institute. so they might be experimented on though i feel like arlecchino is a descendant or perhaps reincarnation of remuria golem.

And maybe they missed one of their friend, Mary Ann so much that they created a puppet at their image ? Yall know where im going with this right ? What if, Rene or Elaine (whatever which disolved) is a Fatui Harbinger, The Ruin Guard that held Sandrone ? I mean, Sandrone is known as the puppet and not the puppet(eer) !! It would make sense for the Ruin guard to be the real harbinger/mastermind with The puppet they created is the "public" figure. When i say puppet, I mean Sentient one like Wanderer and The Shogun not plain puppet

My jaw hit the floor when I heard that particular voiceline! Part of me wants to believe it's some sort of joke, as his other voicelines imply he spars with the traveler. But even though he wheezes like a grandpa, I don't think it is in his character to make such jokes. Can't wrap my head around why Hoyo would drop such a massive spoiler, though.

This may be picky, but it does pertain to the timeline of Teyvat, which is really wonky. Zhongli is (older) than 6000. So he could be 15,000, 7000, 75,000 years old. Nor was he born on Teyvat. He is a descender. He could actually be the primordial one, the second who came, or one of the four shades. Also the twins were on Teyvat a long time before the cataclysm at the year 500. (Scaramouche tells the Traveler their brother/sister lived with the jester when he was still a royal Madge in Khaenri’ah,) before he became head of the Fatui. Scaramouche also says he doesn’t know the date when the Traveler came to Khaenri’ah or when they left, which means not only is the Traveler ancient, but they could have been on Teyvat 100, 3000, 1200 years or just 30 days before the Cataclysm. The vague timeline the writers use has left everything uncertain to exact dates and situations.

All I know is that 4.0 would’ve been way shorter had Neuvillette walked his sexy butt to the Fountain of Lucine and listened to the victims of the primordial seawater. Just one of those moments hindsight is definitely 20/20.

Unless it is a plot hole, I will assume that maybe Neuvillete cant do that. From what he said in his quest, he can only sense emotions in all of water, not necessarily do anything else. Traveler (Ill refer to them as he since I chose male) as an outlander and more importantly the protagonist ofc has more capabilities, than 99% of other residents of Teyvat. We've seen it before, such as when he purified Dvalins tears, or when he resonated with all the visions in Inazuma and when he was capable of seeing Irminsul without any external aids like Sumeru reaserchers had to light the inscent. I wouldnt be surprised if this is just another one of those situations

@@vukkicos5688 I think victims of being murdered would qualify as having strong emotions and he is the Iudex. If I was a dissolved victim he would be the one person i would reach out to. Even if he just breezed past the fountain there’s no reason he couldn’t have heard their voices. But maybe he never went there in all that time - which is doubtful. Or maybe he has to open himself up to emotions and cannot be reached externally…like professor X with his telepathy? But still it’s kinda a plot hole imo. And to add, he created an entire domain-like space that he dragged the Traveler into…or the Traveler connected to-either way, that was all Neuvillette. It’s a pretty powerful ability.

@@maiafay Yeah, but all he would sense is hate for Vacher, which A) doesnt mean anything to him since there was no Vacher in any kind of records to begin with, and thus no way to identify him (since he presumably cant see memories like the Traveler) and B) it wouldnt hold up in court even if he is the judge and even if he couldve seen Vacher's face in memories that converged in Fountain of Lucine.

@@vukkicos5688 they could’ve easily told him who it was, described him, or even showed him the moments of their death, and let the rest happen. There’s just too many vague details to how these powers work in the fountain. It’s one of the issues I have sometimes with the writers. We aren’t given Neuvillette’s perspective on what he saw. Eh it’s kinda a waste of time to debate it. Though Furina’s crying should be heard as well. Can’t see how they both missed her.

Wait, Teyvat means Arc??? This sorta relates to the theory that Griseo, who was supposedly sent in a spaceship in the Project Ark is Phanes and "painted" Teyvat at her own accord, banishing creatures like the dragons to make the place inhabitable.

Neubillette says that it is too harsh of a sentence and to forgive him for overruling. So the question is who sentenced fontaine to this. Primordial sea isn't something that Celestia created as it says that it gave life to everything in the teyvat including vishaps. So maybe the sentence came from dragon king? But then again we still don't know what is the original sin. So questions are more than the answers as of now.

I dont think the primordial sea retreated into the abyss... And you should know that we still do not have an understanding of Teyvat and how it is shaped. All we really know is that the further down into the ground you go, it is like swiss cheese, and the weirder things become with ghosts and areas that try to eat people. NPCs talk about it being flat. Fans are theorizing that its upside down. For all we know, it could be like an hourglass... actually, when it come to the primordial sea...that sort of make sense...if Teyvat flips around, the primordial sea could possibly drain out and be poured back into Teyvat depending on how its flipping. But for now it seems more like the water has something to do with Childes whale...Maybe it has the power to control it? The water itself should have more to do with the light realm where the Vishaps are from though... but yea, we cant tell what is down in the depth of Teyvat but I am sure that it can hold the primordial sea without issue.

Forneus description is: "When among the angels his duty was to help channel positive energy and to ensure that justice and balance were upheld, particularly for the weak or those who had been victimized unnecessarily. He continues to work in a similar manner and is one of the demons that summoners look to for help in the times of danger and injustice." Well guess what one of his power is? Manipulation of Infernal Water which enables it to create or summon water from hell that is able to dissolve human beings and archuta as acid and can engulf the opponent and assimilate it.

The lack of king Scylla mentioning with all the talk of remuria and the primordial sea kinda bother me as they are the og hydro soverign that gave remus the goblet that established remuria. There is a possibility that the fall of remuria and the flood was a result of what happened to Scylla . Also in the lore of Fontaine gliders it confirmed that scylla was the heart first of the primordial sea and responsible for the virth of all the merfolks. And after he got sealed away the shade of life used their essance to create egeria to become the second heart. Which technically makes her the first hydro dragon sovereign reincarnation before neuvillette, in fact she was created as the hydro dragon substitute except she got all it's features but lacked it's outer dragon form the same way neuvillette is.
