It should be illegal to use such tech in sanctioned races... But I like the idea for training and causal use.

Because in my opinion it would be considered a performance enhancer. Instead of using training, wit and intuition you are relying on a device to tell you exactly what you have to do to win. If this moves forward whats to keep the inventors from putting a little light on the lenses that flashes to tell you what cadence to keep while riding in order to win. Its removing rider error for calculated attacks which will ultimately take away from the riders in favor of who has the most up to date riding algorithm.

Strava ruined cycling even more. I have seen dudes doping to be on top of their local strava segments.

The UCI currently bans the use of cell phones during competitions. So, riders won't be allowed to race with these smart-glasses.
