I’m Korean, not British in any way but it still made me cry 😢 having served 2 years in the Korean military myself, I have so much respect for the ex-servicemen and women of Great Britain and the country they served and loved.

I'm not crying. I've just been peeling onions. Oh, all right, I admit I have tears in my eyes at the sight of all those men and women when they came out in front of the stage. We owe them a lot.

They're great, my only annoyance is that bomber crews aren't heroes. They carry death to women and children while their husbands cannot protect them! I don't know what your grandpa looked like, mine fought at Monte Cassino and on Crete, he had a sunken face and he was one of the nicest people in the world. When I had to become a soldier, he cried. Well I'm still alive. Grandpa, I understand now, I'm proud of you, I don't forget you!

@@CSavageSr No one! Nothing against the Fighters and other Pilots. The "Bombers" have killed women and children. I remembered my Grandma, she lived at Bochum. She always have tears on her face when the sirens have been tested. Glenn Miller ... he have maybe lost in a "Notwurf"?? of homecomming Lancasters!

I just ran across this from BGT & needless to say I was moved & impressed. This is what you call a fine tribute to all who served during WW II & shows the utmost respect by honoring them. Well done ladies; I am so proud of you gals...

I can understand that, I've heard songs by Vera Lynn after I heard D-Darlings, not because D-Darlings are bad, no they are good, but I listened to Vera and I cried a little, what a lovely woman and how good she is for all soldiers, thank god for Vera

Although I am 7th generation American, all my roots trace back to England. I had to stand and applaud just sitting in front of my computer for this.
