Hey, quick observation and note to anyone who sees this.... if you happen to nibble on gum, make sure you eat after! If you do not, you can develop stomach, gut, and other health issues. In short, your body thinks you are eating and starts the digestion process.... stomach acid is able to dissolve a nail and if you are not eating and breaking down the food, in short you will be breaking down your stomach lining and can suffer from improper digesting abilities as you need 3 hours between meals too.... more than that, other issues can happen but some similar like the bile issues and absorption issues... bowel issues result too. My Mom was an avid gum eater and ended up with ulcers along her stomach lining among other issue! Hope this finds gum eaters... Ps the aspartame is good to investigate and how gum is made with rubber : )
