While Cube and Dre were squeaky clean. Not true. They probably would've turned D.O.C into some soap opera tragedy. @Stop him in his tracks And show him I am ruthless Argument??? I literally pointed out "And therefore this track is ruthless" to agree with Neha Bajaj that its pure gangsta rap and I responded with you to clarify that the Auto tune was one of the major parts which ruined rap later on. That Auto Tune thing I said was to justify myself why there are so many clowns today trying to be gangsters/Rappers.. I DON'T CARE if you weren't talking about MUMBLE RAPPERS because I was giving an example of who uses Auto Tune now days if that wasn't obvious enough. 'Funky Enough' is gangsta rap but D.O.C decided to use Reggie style because he was drunk the day he recorded his verses.

Straight Outta Compton is causing me to dig up all of these hits I used to listen to growing up. I also like it that the movie is causing kids who weren't even born then to check these out and appreciate them. It's weird how "gangsta rap" was considered trash by the establishment back then, but now people are saying that was an era of real music.

I started listening to hip hop with Lil Wayne's album The Carter 3, that came out in 2008. Back then I was a kid, so you see i am not from that oldskool generation myself. But then I started to go back to the roots of hip hop. Because I was curious about the culture and it's history. And started going through the whole history of hip hop. The 70s stuff, then the 80s stuff. I was amazed how different and generally just better the old stuff was. I just liked it more. Used to blast The D.o.c as if it was some trending new released stuff in 2012😁 Then i discovered the infamous from mobb deep and got into the 90s stuff. I think most people wouldn't listen to that oldskool stuff just simply because it's from a different era. But i don't care what year something was made, if it's good hip hop I'll blast it all day long.
