What’s happening in this The Da Vinci Code movie clip?
Teabing (Ian McKellen from Richard III, X-Men and The Lord of the Rings), who wants to bring down the Church for centuries of persecution and deceit, confronts Langdon (Tom Hanks from Cast Away, The Green Mile and Forrest Gump) and Sophie (Audrey Tautou from Amélie and Coco before Chanel). Teabing demands that the pair open the cryptex. Langdon tries and seemingly fails before suddenly tossing the cryptex into the air. Teabing dives for it, catches it, but the vial breaks, and the papyrus is thought destroyed.

What’s the The Da Vinci Code movie about?
One night, Professor Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks from Cast Away, The Green Mile and Forrest Gump), an eminent specialist in the study of symbols, is called to the Louvre Museum in France. The museum curator has been murdered, but before he died, he left behind mysterious symbols. With the help of cryptologist Sophie Neveu (Audrey Tautou from Amélie and Coco before Chanel), Langdon will lead the investigation and discover signs hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci. All the clues converge towards a religious organization as mysterious as it is powerful, ready to do anything to protect a secret capable of destroying a two thousand year old dogma. From Paris to London, then to Scotland, Robert and Sophie will try everything to decipher the code and get close to the secrets that challenge the very foundations of Christianity.

You clearly didn't read the book or see the movie... Subtle foreshadowing: Immediately following the line "Only the worthy can find the Grail, Leigh," Leigh Teabing looks down in frustration, and Robert Langdon looks at Sophie Neveu.

The following words are very close pheonetically: Apple (Â-pull), Appeal (Uh-Peel), A Peel (a pee-l). An apple is a fruit. A "peel" could be the skin of an apple, a term to describe a sudden burst of childish laughter, or the sound someone makes when they break the sound barrier when whistling. The more you know, 🤔. Words are, after all, mostly anomopeia that have long since lost recognition as such.

Isaac Newton came up with his theory of gravity when he was sitting in his garden and saw an apple fall from a tree. But on the statue, there was no apple in his hand even though his hand was positioned as if holding one. So "APPLE" was chosen as the combination because Saunière knew that Langdon would be able to deduce it, but few others would. And he chose "APPLE" rather than "POMME," because using English rather than his native French would further obfuscate it from most seekers, but would be natural to Langdon.

Reading the books of the New Testament, we probably asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years? The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. In this world, the great fertility of atheism can be explained by the fact that there is no main opponent of critics of the Bible - the Church. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist. Find *"The Mystery about the Church of Christ"* video on KZbin. The video reveals the prophecy of the disappearance and reappearance of the Church of Christ before the End of the World. Watching this video will give hope to all who sincerely seek God and will interest those who are not too lazy to think freely. Click on my name to watch the video (The video is in Russian, but English subtitles are included).

I read the book just after I had spent 18 months reading and studying the bible (from the most accurate translation I could find at the time - and had a number of seminary books on what the bible meant - or possible meant in different sections). While there are many things in the book that are taken from the bible; there are a number of things that are not from the bible and contradict it. Its a good tale that will fool most people who have not actually read the bible and know what it says in all the different books.
