Its an acquired taste, since usually its pretty sour. It has a pretty piercing taste because its fermented, but making stuff like kimchi stew and kimchi fried rice kinda evens it out. This is my personal experience with eating kimchi lol, I used to hate it.

A little bit of advice when you want to cook the meat faster: turn on the heat and place your pan/pot on the stove and wait for a few minutes. You’ll know if it’s hot when the meat sizzles when it hits the pan :)

It’s not too bad, I tried some street food there topped with a bit of kimchi and it wasn’t rly as spicy as I imagined it to be, maybe bc it’s in winter when I last visited so the cold made the kimchi less spicy but overall it is good
