I feel bad about Bart. The anecdote that you shared about the hot dog and auntie was priceless, did she lay off using violence as discipline? I loved hearing that the reporter was someone that you had helped by visiting their classroom and the idea that locals growing up with aloha and ho'oponopono have something that very few people ever learn otherwise. I'm convinced that that is what the world needs now. You are ideally situated to facilitate that. I don't want to burden you, just an observation. Thank you, Andy. Aloha

I am so sorry for your loss, but what a great memory to help you through a difficult Time............I can just see the look on you Auntys face when she realized it was a hot dog..........Such a memory............And your conversation with the local girl.......I wish there were more kinds of girls like her instead of the titas that tend to clog the news..............Hawaiian values, where are they when you need them................Love you and good show

Andy, my wife and I just viewed the story and are very sorry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. As an aside related to your story, my mom's family is Italian and some have the surname Zonna and some Zonno. Good news is that we are finally dug out of the 31 inches of snow.
@claudiavasquez44014 жыл бұрын
I really really related to your story about the adjustment to the mainland. I have never fit in or could “succeed” mainland style. i am considered weak. and if you are polite or nice you are considered slow or stupid. it is only when i lived in Hawaii that my nature was applauded. here in mainland it is ridiculed. My heart cries for you about Bart., so funny and joyful the old memories. as we age the leaves of our family tree fall gently to the ground. with gods grace we have new green leaves bud on our tree. all my aloha.

Sending aloha and prayers to you and your family, Andy. You are wise to have a good (and hilarious) memory to "go to" at a time like this. I appreciate how genuine these shows are -- you are giving us what you know and feel with honesty and personal conviction and that is what makes for real communication and connection, it cannot be faked. Looking forward to seeing the AP article!

+Luftmensch067 I thought your message was so well written. Thank you for finding the words that are failing me today. the fact that Andy IS so genuine, that's what really makes this show. We're Main Landers (AZ/CA) who just moved here from Hong Kong. We love, love, love watching your videos. You are teaching us a lot about island culture & giving us an insider's perspective. There are a lot of people in need in this tropical paradise, it helps us to understand some, and perhaps we may be able to reach out and help those in need. So sorry about Bart. How it pains me, to know how your family has suffered. I pray that the truth would come out, and justice would be served. You are a fun loving man, who handled your cousin's darkest moment revealed with somber grace and wit. Praying for strength as Kimo & you pal around together. Food is your medicine-bon appetit!

Sorry about your bad day. I think one of the things that people like about you and the show is that you share your life in a genuine way. What's "guaran ball bearings?"
@AndyBumataiShow8 жыл бұрын
+Pat Whitty (MotoMeditations) Mahalo Pat. Garan Ball Bearin Means "Guaranteed with the strength of a ball bearing." Itʻs from when we were kids and used to play marbles and a ball bearing assured success.
@pwhitty7428 жыл бұрын
I thought that's what it meant. Didn't get the marble connection though.Have you ever thought of doing a show about Pidgin in corporate America? They have their own language you know. They never "use" something. They "leverage" it. They never "contact" anyone. They "reach out." Instead of "detail" they use "granular." And on and on. It would be hilarious to see your character pitching the next killer app to room full of uptight corporate executives. Garan Ball Bearins it would be a hit.
