hello everyone. as a guitarist, i would like to confirm the point of being lazy first and foremost. there is a difference between "being creative" and the craft of "improving guitar playing". Being lazy is so important if you want to be creative. it's a bit like quenching your thirst. You drink a glass and the next day you reach for the exact same glass, but it's empty. and maybe you catch a drop, but it doesn't satisfy. (metaphor king). I realized way too late that I don't always have to have ideas when I'm sitting at the guitar, which led to such a high level of frustration that I doubted for days that I was even "the right one" for the guitar. crazy mindset...

That deliberately lazy tip is powerful. From my perspective, I think what Ben is presenting here is the idea of being more mindful/ present. Our society has cultivated this really unhealthy approach to (boredom) which is literally a state of thought and reflection which, in my opinion leads to creativity. With that said, goodbye KZbin! lol
