I can't think of a country who's national identity is more tied to it's dairy products than france 😂 you've got all the local french cheese, patisserie (very heavy on the butter and cream), croissants, copious butter used in cooking and all the various gratin dishes swimming in cream and all the roux based sauces 😂 I kinda get the horrified looks from the french people, feels like dairy free is almost an attack on their national identity 😂 I think they're the biggest consumers of butter per person worldwide (yep, I jsut checked 8.2kg/person per year, next on the list is denmark with a measly 6.4kg)

I would have had to sneak some real cream or cheese. I always select real diary over synthetic diary replacement.
