Yeah, I definitely don't remember that car. Also, this video makes me miss tandem drafting.

I remember this was the year both Danica Patrick and Josh Wise were the main drivers of the 7. Danica still part time as she finished her Indycar career and Josh Wise before he took a performance coach role with Chevrolet NASCAR drivers. Considering how Dale Jr was one of the better drivers on SuperSpeedways, I can’t say I’m surprised that he drove the 7. Jimmie Johnson drove the TaxSlayer paint scheme at Watkins Glen and finished 2nd to Kurt Busch (replacing Brad Keselowski who was still recovering from his ankle injury from a test session at I believe Road Atlanta, so Brad stayed out of the Nationwide Series car.) and Jimmie would’ve won had it not been for a speeding penalty. As a Jimmie fan, who didn’t like Kurt as 1. I was 8 and 2. I didn’t know any better only watching NASCAR for 2 seasons and because of their rivalry I didn’t like Kurt and Kyle. I was not a happy 8 year old when I watched that race. (I thankfully grew out of my hatred for both Kurt and Kyle quickly). Great video giving a shout out to Dale Jr running this paint scheme. Pulling what Kaulig did with their Xfinity program/RFK now in Cup by running the same paint scheme (as Almirola mainly had the Suave scheme) for 2 cars before NRF memed it

I remember telling someone he drove the 7. They were like no way? Dale loved running the Xfinity plate races at that time.
