So basically they wasted another 4th round pick on Mingo
@jfkmydad69Күн бұрын
Yes. Horrible decision, because round 4 would have been a sweet spot for an impact player.

Cowboys have to utilize Schoonmaker a lot more than they have. He needs more reps to gain confidence by his coaches and especially for himself. The kid has talent; he's big and has good hands.

Go Jayden Higgins, 6’ 4” 210 pounds, Iowa State, 2024, 87 receptions, 1,183 yards, 9 td’s 13.6 average. Then get Nick Nash very late, 6’ 3” 195 lbs. San Jose State, 2024, 104 receptions, 1,382 yards, 16 td’s, 13.3 average. He led the country in Td’s, receptions and yards, only 4th player in FBS history to do that. You get two big receivers to compete and then compliment CD Lamb.

Been saying this about Stewart for a minute. He is what Dak needs across the middle with those tight window throws. No way he's still there in the third.

No 50/50 balls, no jump ball, can’t block, injuries, durability concerns and you talking about using a 2nd round pick on this guy. Everybody for their own I guess but that sounds crazy.

We already have a new smaller receiver with grit and insane playmaking ability.. named TURPIN! I think having him is enough to look for a big body receiver who can muscle some TDs in the red zone
@DoubleMoveКүн бұрын
Stewart is a much, much, better route runner/receiver than Turp… & I love Turpin

@@jayc6395Bro didn’t even say anything about what he wants them to draft. NOBODY is saying not to draft defense high, it just a matter of how each player is graded by the cowboys scouts and the value they have (and jerry jones). Now that we dropped to pick 15, who knows what we r gonna draft.

I don't know if you read the comments but their are several receivers that are over 6' 4"- 6' 5" that run in the 4.40 range some may be projects but much better prospects. you already have devante Turpin we need a big fast guy.

We definitely need WR help flournoy didn't contribute and Tolbert showed something but we need a Pickens type that consistently shows up but we have to get our lines fixed both sides I don't care if last year's picks becomes backup's and we cut all these guys that were trying to get coached up
@jeremiahdent0826Күн бұрын
I would go RB, WR, or DT in the first three rounds m…LB, DB and DE are needs too
@Egonzales85Күн бұрын
I really feel we need a big bodied receiver. The problem is that Dak isn’t as accurate as he used to be. This is a huge problem so we need a 6’3, 6’4; Dez type of receiver to go up and get the ball… small gadget guys in the latter rounds good. If we can continue to work with Mingo, this may solve that problem. Possibly. But I feel we need to focus on a RB 2. I feel CD is WR 1, mingo WR 2, let’s get Turpin in for 3. Or have him compete for the spot with the younger dudes. We need to take the load off of Dowdle so we have a solid rushing attack.
@DoubleMoveКүн бұрын
Dak has always flourished with route runners… Amari Cooper, Beasley, Witten, etc. Sure, I’d like a big bodied guy, but Dak favors “receivers” that can get open on their own. he’s not a big “50/50 back-shoulder” guy
@derickmendez753Күн бұрын
Why would you get someone similar to lamb ? You need a big body WR at the WR2. Not a dude who’s that small.

No no no... we need to build this team INSIDE out...Improving the offensive line should be the #1 goal on offense (maybe even a QB)...Malik Nabers was selected high and flashed potential but did not put is team over 5 wins...WR is a sexy pick but not a solid pick
@tanjuendaz3980Күн бұрын
Mingo is not a waste; he will have a full off-season and training camp to get acclimated with our offense and Dak. Any wide receiver we draft will be a nother weapon for our offense.

If they draft a receiver high they better find a coach that can deal with and scheme two receivers, I mean they got receivers in my opinion they just barely get targets!! But ok add another and keep McCarthy and we will pick another receiver in the draft after that, and the next one and next one!! At some point you gotta get something out of the receivers on the roster! We should see Flournoy, Mingo, Brooks and Tolbert if the Tolbert experiment is still going we should see them a lot the rest of the season
@troyreynolds7943Күн бұрын
The ball is going to CeeDee either way. Ferguson is capable, Cooks, Tolbert they all make plays when the ball is headed their way. Everyone drops passes 90% of the pass plays are scheme to get Cee Dee the ball. Personally I'm not taking a W.R. over O.L D.T. D.E. L.B. or R.B. If it's close on B.P.A. those positions are far more areas of need for starters and depth

Shit we need to draft another defense/offensive line we all know now if you win the line of scrimmage you win these days I don't like drafting a RB and or WR in the first and seconds round
@KJ.Cboyz2001Күн бұрын
No you need weapons. What does drafting a WR in the 3rd-7th do for your offense and QB? I’m tired of drafting lineman. At some point the lineman you have now need to be developed. The Lions drafted a RB in the first and look where they are now. The cowboys have drafted 9 Offensive lineman in the past 6-7 years. They need to draft a skilled guy or else we’ll see the offense struggle with lack of weapons. You want another season of Ceedee being the only weapon that scares a defense? The offensive line talent isn’t even that deep this year. I’m not drafting lineman for another year. Get Dak some damn weapons
