Yeah Kyrie missed 1 out of 6 free throws in the Heat game. The missed one just came at the wrong time. But he was playing sick in that game too, so I’m giving him a little pass since he’s been elite so far this season. He redeemed himself when he came alive in the 4th quarter in the hawks game even tho he had the flu

The Luka slander after the way Luka performed last year is insane. Dude has to always perform perfectly or folks throw him under the bus so quick. That’ll change when he comes back and starts killing it again.

He is one of the best players itw. High standarts are normal, and he plays so poorly

Its funny, I don't see no one saying Kyrie should pass the ball more now that Luka isn't here. People say Luka shoots to much but are quiet when Kyrie is averaging damn near 30 shots a game without Luka. This team is a play-in or miss playoffs all together without Luka and with they're true championship contenders.
@Velveteenvision4 күн бұрын
@@bigred9991why is it always Luka vs Kyrie it’s so weird. They call each other brothers and for some reason this Mavs fan base is constantly comparing them and trying to prove who is better who is worse etc. it annoys me so much. The only reason Kyrie is taking more shots right now is because Luka is gone by the way. He was averaging 17 ppg when Luka was playing, and Luka was at 23 ppg. Kyrie takes A LOT less when Luka plays, which is fine.. he knows this team is Luka’s
@supertrouperJC024 күн бұрын
It's more about effort than performance. You miss some shots, ok fine you'll get it back. You stand around and watch as you lose the game to a layup and don't contest the shot, meanwhile you complain every time down the floor because you want a foul every play, that's not acceptable from the star of the team trying to carry them to the finals.
@Velveteenvision4 күн бұрын
@@bigred9991 I just checked Kyrie’s ppg for the last 4 games without Luka and he took 18, 19, 21 and 28. When Luka was playing he took 11 vs pelicans, 15 spurs, 13 Warriors, 22 nuggets (the 40pt game), 17 pts suns. I could go on but I think you see that he is not averaging nearly 30 shots per game. He’s only taken close to 30 once and that was yesterday’s game without Luka. So tell me how is he a ball hog? I always see him getting his teammates involved.

Imo Luka is the X factor this year. We've seen what we were hoping for, Naji is great and a big improvement over DJJ, Grimes is an improvement over Green and Klay, although having a rough start, is still a big improvement over THJ even at the worst of times. If Luka can play to the level he played last year I think the only threats they have are OKC and Boston and they seem to have OKC's number.

I feel like there could exist a reality where Mavs could play like this, the majority of games. And when needed, you could bring in well rested, healthy, team killer in Doncic, a father of many sons, to make it absolutely sure, you are not losing that one 😅 Make Doncic THE bench player! :D😂

Don’t sleep of Klay, if you’ve watched him you’d see him playing crazy d and being very passive if better shots are available. Hes using his spacing, that’s why he’s valuable. He always starts slow, even during his prime. It will come, later as expected due to adjusting to a new system. Hopefully when Luka is healthy, Klay is back, and Naji is MIP, we can get revenge on Boston. I see it playing out perfectly.
