I think the best available options for the Mavs are Cam Johnson, Deni Advija, Larry Nance, and Obi Toppin. Idk if Kuzma is the fit just because of his mentality and attitude. Maybe if he humbled himself and settled for that bench role like he did for the Lakers.

Hardy can’t be traded this year and for Cam Johnson, Klay or Gafford would have to be included in the deal plus 2025 and 2031 first round picks. Even with all that, Mavs won’t outbid other teams trade packages since all we can offer are unproven young guys and past their prime vets.

For as annoying as he is, he actually does have a ring as a rotational backup power forward so it's not like he's an anchor on a contending team in a reduced role. I don't think he's the guy I'd spend the first rounder on if we spend it, though. We're pretty short on draft capital so it needs to be spent wisely

Thank god, the guy is too much of a diva I'm pretty sure there's some beef between him and Dinwiddie, plus I'm not sure Kyle is the type of guy that accepts a role if he believes he can do better, which can help when we need people to step up but hurts when you're in a tight game and a player doesn't make the right call / isn't playing their role.

Suspension to PJ & Naji have cost us 1 game and hopefully not another. Injuries to Liv/Luka & Exum have certainly made Kidds job harder. As far as caring about and liking one another, please this is professional basketball at the highest level. If you getting paid multiple million of dollars to play a game effort and attitude should be a non issue. As for Kuzma he is not a good fit. Go get Jones big time upgrade and #1 choice. IMO.
