They had to really shoe horn that wrong chain in there and made a mess of everything. Thanks Terry for sharing this info and you determined everything that was wrong

It must have been a tight fit putting a 58 gauge into a 50 gauge bar slot.

I did not know, but google is my friend. Husqvarna .325X Cut chain, Husqvarna 64020014 drive sprocket. That chain requires a bar marked .50 gague. That is a greenie weenie chain and I would opt for the same 50 gague bar and a 3/8 full chisel C83 chain to match the bar length; but that is for an experienced user who can manage kick back and needs to do some plunge cuts (a very handy and safe tree felling technique).
