@@dezolatestation I was 18 when I started seeing the Damned in London!! In 1984!! Have been seeing them along the way and they are always incredible live! Met Dave back in 1986 in London and he helped me get a photo/press pass to photograph the band at their 10th Anniversary party in London! Some of my photos made it into their book !! I talked to Dave after the last show on June 16th and showed him the photos and he has a bunch of those photos that I took!! I made a video about that story, it's on my channel here! I am also about to post the "After Show Shenanigans " video of me talking to Dave about this and all the other fun going on after that show!! I hope you will check it out!! @@LittleMissIssues nice to hear that, u had incredible time! , i was diggin into punk music, i was thinking that uk scene started with sex pistols, seeing so much media about pistols out there, but i realize the more i digg it's started by the damned, ofc reading their discography and performing in cbgb in that time kinda more prestige than the pistols ,big win for damned

@@dezolatestation yes that's right! They put out the first punk single! They have an amazing history and the changes over the years quite interesting as well! I love all of their eras they have gone through! London in the 80s was quite a lot of fun and such great music! There is a documentary called 'Don't You Wish We Were Dead' about the band and is worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet! 😉

One of the original bands on the London punk scene, and the first punk band to put out a single, even before the Sex Pistols! They have been going a long time, and their music is pretty fun and has evolved quite nicely! They have quite a history.
