Love how the little one are hungry for the dancefloor - they r on fire- some older ones I have watched its like they do not want to be on the stage or there - you can tell it in the dancing,face and attidude. These dancers are like " i got this " i love to dance yippy its my turn...so much energy n amazing...so much passion

I prefer the older ones actually. They understand it's about interpreting the music rather than doing gymnastics most likely some of these kids have learnt a routine for this. The little ones seem more enthusiastic to show off than to take their time to listen to the nuances of the music.

you can do what you like as long as you are interpreting the music. I don't think tap is a great idea because maybe only one of the judges will be a tap judge so you'd have to a be a phenom to make up for it, and what if the song doesn't lend itself to tap? - like this song is not really a tap song.
