There's something beautiful about singing this with the last shreds of an exhausted voice. Very nice.

Great performance. Not sure what the complainers are hearing but not everyone can comprehend real talent unless it has auto tune attached to it.

Wow. i always say the Dandy's are one of my fave bands bc their early stuff was a big influence. But i went through a loss and stopped buying and listening to much music. Everything...almost...was too painful, so i missed them. Courtney w the scraggly Willie Nelson hair is a pleasant shock. Only bc it evokes HEAVY music, which i love but it's fitting bc he ALWAYS did what he wanted. Psychedelic folk to synth pop? In their top selling albums?? Sabotage for some. Exciting to me. This is a treasure and im rapt i found it. Seeing them live....stoned on..something they'd dabbled in w my arms wrapped around my girl. Courtney saw our young faces and grinned cause we were blissed out but i always felt it was a "ok guys. ur loved up and spaced but with us. make sure it stays that way". That's what i felt through his acknowledgement, cause i was singing every song so he could see i lived for music. And live, w the glamourous scruff and tits out they were a staement band. Smart. Forward thinking feminists, challenging the jock crowd hit singles like Bohemian , draw, to dare stare too long. I loved that coz i'm a boy and it's sexy but i got it. Long story but 25yrs later i survived to rekindle our love affair. And his stretched gravell vocal is perfect in its imperfections. GOD I MISS THE 90s and early 2000's. When albums were not only an indictment that a band was more than the latest hook, they were essential to the soul, mind even intellectual growth when you'd here an artist mention a band or author and you expanded your reach. Singles got skipped as u dug deep cuts and sometimes u wouldn't remember the song title coz it was track 10. Yknow. The one that goes....... Today ts DAKE DROPPING 4 ALBUMS OF SHIT IN A YR W ONLY THE SINGLE HAVING ANYTHING REMOTELY MEMORABLE AND 2/3 IS RAPPED OR SUNG BY IDIOT GUESTS SAYING SHIT LIKE PARK UR BIG MACK TRUCK IN MY LITTLE GARAGE???? Like. So pathetic u wonder which of the 100 writers allowed a lyric like that, through. Hey call me old....cause that implies, experience, wisdom and history. loved it

I like how they have 2 guitars, playing the exact same thing, and a wimpy little whistle solo where there should be a fill.
@paulsweet54 жыл бұрын
Not playing exactly the same thing if you listen and watch!

It's Tracy Sweet. On Paul Sweet's account. And how would I know that?! I was reading the comments in the middle of the night, I didn't notice how long ago the comment was made. I stand by my comment I made. I'm sorry the person is dead obviously but how exactly an I supposed to know? And what difference does it make anyway?

Some songs can be s-l-o-w-e-d down and some should never be, this is a classic example of one which shouldn't be. The Byrds, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band do it up right. They MOVE you. These guys put me to sleep !

Not many people know this. But before the making of the ‘quiet man’ John Wayne sprained his ankle. It delayed production by three weeks. Smh how do people not know this by now. Maybe you guys should get off your screens and actually open a book. Book: a written or printed work. Consisting of paper with written type often bound together. Rant officially over lol
@Redandranger2 жыл бұрын
Not many people know this but John Wayne was a fucking right wing asshole who was supportive of the McCarthy embarrassment hunting for communists in Hollywood and a member of the insane John Birch Society. Reagan was also a McCarthy supporter, giving him names of actors/directors to target.

The one chord song reference was to a song the audience asked them to play, that they didn't want to play
@NirvanaWarhols4 жыл бұрын
He was referring to a fan request for the Merle Travis song "Sixteen Tons". They did a cover of it for their album "This Machine" which came out the year, this was recorded.
