@@oceanroblox5076 I think part of the reason its so creepy is because its a purposely disturbing scene meant to shock the player edited to be in a place where it doesn't belong. In the free roam portion of V3, you don't expect to see a death scene, much less one of a character from a whole different entry, and in such a subtle manner. In my opinion, when something out of place is there subtly, it's much more effective than it being right in your face (plus the semi-realistic editing of Ibuki in there like Emiliane mentioned) (WOW sorry for the paragraph there, I'm just super fascinated with what makes things seem scary or creepy to people)

Tsumugi 100% lied in the last trial about the character auditionings for their roles. 1) we play as kaede in the prologue pre-flashback Light, we see her say that she was kidnapped and that she does not know what is going on, we also see her inner toughts and she's nothing like she appeared in her audition video, she never talks about murdering anyone one single time, tsumugi faked her audition tape. 2) none of the other characters seem to have auditioned either...Shuichi even mention being kidnapped too!! In fact, none of the other characters know Rantaro despite him 100% participating in the last killing game!!! Aren't they meant to be BIG danganronpa fans??? 3) in fact all of the other characters seem to have either the same personality as their v3 personas or Something very similar, Miu still shows her cleavage, Kiyo still uses a mask, Shuichi still wears his hat, and etc, I think the game is implying that their personalities werent erased, just their memories, so their personalities werent entirely fabricanted, Tsumugi lied about that too!!! Hell we even see Kaede's inner monologue and its THE EXACT SAME WORD BY WORD as her monologue at the start of v3 chapter 1 4) tsumugi lied about cospox, if she cant cosplay real people why did she get cospox when cosplaying kaede when she's meant to be a fabricated persona??? Its obviously just a shitty excuse to clear her from ever pretending to be someone else while doing a killing, but it shows that she and her words cannot be trusted.

I feel like Tsumugi lied throughout the entire last trial. As well as what you pointed out: 1) The Monokubs fixed Kiibo's antenna. During that they could have easily tampered with the signal for his 'inner voice' or even planted that from the very beginning (pre-killing game Kiibo wears a hat, so it's hard to tell if he even had the antenna in the first place) in order to make Tsumigi's lie even more believable. 2) The auditioning videos could have easily been faked by Tsumugi if Cospox was a lie (which I believe it is going by the same reasoning). Also, on the logical standpoint: Pretty sure a TV show where people actually kill each other purely for entertainment would be illegal in a normal society.

@@supersmilyface1 well in my opinion I can see how the killing game show could be real and totally legal in their world, it could simply be a distopian society where entretainment has more value than people's lives, something similar to the movie Truman Show. I'm of the opinion that Tsumugi's lies were mixed with parts of the truth, so I dont think she lied about the outside world of v3 supporting the killing game, specially when Kiibo nearly died because of the audience's interference

I think she tells the full truth and they just don't show their actual reactions in game. Since if they did it would have been too obvious. They do it in game to make Kaede a killer. Which I knew tsumugi did it because her alibi was too stupid. Cospox probably wasn't even a real thing, she is the Ultimate Cosplayer.

The scene she shows you at the beginning is the first time you ever enter the gym. The first scene in the game isn't the first time you ever entered the gym and your memories are wiped by that point. The Ultimate Memories just weren't implanted then. Keep in mind that the memories they do remember then are fake ones. I just replayed the entire first trial for the backdoor for the case. That is definitely what they were aiming for and I think that when they translated that part they probably left something out that pointed more at that. I actually suspected Tsumugi was the mastermind in chapter 1 because of the cospox. Nothing that stupid was ever used in a game before and her being the ultimate cosplayer means she can lie about anything visual related. I hate her though cuz she killed Kaede and I loved Kaede just too much to not be pissed at Tsumugi. xD Also the references are probably not to V3 but to a similar game of the same genre. I didn't actually play a lot of them to know which one though. They do foreshadow a lot of things though from backwards to forwards though.

I have a theory where the prologue memories aren’t real, nor they’re the real characters. Okay, so I think the audition tapes may be real. Maybe?? I’m not too sure about it.. but my theory is that, this is just a program. The whole game is just, *a game* All the characters that we’ve seen in the prologue, were the characters without their ultimate talents, not the actual people that were fans of the game.The personality aren’t too different, some of them might have the same personality while others could be different. Like maybe Kokichi isn’t really a liar?? Think about it, why didn’t Monokuma showed up in the prologue, or did Tsumugi said anything about the memories not being given? Is because Tsumugi probably didn’t know anything about the killing game or the fact that she’s the mastermind yet. Secondly, the flashback in chapter 6 where they’re excited that they got into Danganronpa were the real deal. They were fans of Danganronpa and were *told* that they were selected for the game. They could also be modeling for the newest game A.K.A for the opening. Also it’s most likely that the video that Rantaro filmed was from his original self. Which in conclusion, all of the characters from the game are AIs version of their real self. That’s probably what they meant this is a *fictional world* and *this a fiction*

This is just my theory but I think the tapes were made so that shuichi can fall into despair bcuz the og plot that tsumugi created must have went like shuichi fell to despair. You switch to kiboo's P.O.V then he gives everyone hope they vote for tsumugi then she get's executed which mean in the og plot of tsumugi evereone was gonna be fully fiction like 1,2,3,etc. I dont have evidence to back it up though.😅

For anyone curious, Shuichi's eye colour in his sprites is "6a695c", of which is desaturated orange/yellow. This is consistent in almost all his sprites and CGs except ones where he is affected by lighting, such as when he's seen at night or having a glow overlayed ontop of him.

The colour most people think of when picturing brown, often referred to as solid brown, is actually a dark shade between red and orange. Meanwhile, Shuichi's eye colour would actually a closer mix between orange and yellow if saturated more - only falling under orange specifically due to its desaturation.

For Shuichi's eye color, I noticed that the color pallets for the sprites and cutscenes are usually a bit different. From my memory, Shuichi has more grey colored eyes for his sprites, but more golden eyes for the cutscenes (I also remember in THH I was confused by Kyoko's hair color since her sprites have a more white color while in the cutscenes it's more of a light lavender color).

For the whole irl killing game, I have always wanted to make a thing like that but obviously not with actual killing, kinda like a role play where people dress up as danganronpa oc characters and have their ultimate talent as something they are good at and they have a week to prepare or whatever and then they will get put into like a big mansion or whatever is big enough and most like a school I guess and two to three people who would be friends of someone in the group will Anonymously pick who the mastermind will be and then they get to plan out the motives and things and basically how the killing would work is that you every 2-4 nights or days whoever wanted to be the blackened would go to a place where you can tell the mastermind that you wanted to and how it would happen and stuff and then they would pick out who they wanted and then whoever they wanted to kill would have to say if they were okay with being killed or someone that wanted to leave maybe? The same rules apply to the class trial but the execution you will be taken somewhere and then an animation of your character will be played going through your execution. For the body discovery during the period of time that you are wanting to kill you and the victim will set it up to look however it is that you wanted it to look like with makeup and effects, I sound really stupid for this long detailed comment but you can see I have it all in my head 😅😅

In regards to the Tokyo game show ending image: Your prior guess of it possibly being the beta design of Tsumugi actually holds more weight. While no CG looks like the image shown, we do actually see a variation of the image in-game. It's actually one of Tsumugi's sprites, specifically the sprite of her grasping her hands together when she's blushing/drooling. The buttons on her sleeves match up perfectly and so does the jacket itself. But not only that, we don't just see it as one of Tsumugi's normal sprites... her grasping hands together sprite is the first mastermind sprite we see of her (referring to Tsumugi's sprites with swirls in her irises and purple bags under her eyes). If this ending image wasn't Mastermind Tsumugi, that's a huge coincidence.

19:18 On this topic, I've been replaying the DR games, and the first two actually have a good handful of hints towards V3's ending. For example, in the first game there's a scene where Makoto says Monokuma is acting like a fictional character, to which Monokuma responds "YOU'RE a fictional character!" It's usually small stuff like that, but there's enough for me to think they had the possibility in their heads for a while.

Oh they absolutely had that idea from the get-go. The end of the first game shows Monokuma address the screen saying as follows: "Kehehe..." "Interesting..." "Things are getting veeery interesting indeed." "Puhuhu..." "Puuhuhuhuhuhuhu!" "Like I said at the beginning...I'm not a teddy bear." "I am Monokuma..." "And I am your-I am this school's..." "...headmaster!" In my opinion, this scene only makes sense if he is addressing an audience that is outside the Danganronpa world. It could be just a fun fourth wall break and hint at a possible future game, but I personally feel its Monokuma addressing the audience of the show after the season has ended, ensuring the fans a second season was greenlit.

Don't feel too safe from the possibility of danganronpa hypnosis. it is very possible; "become someone else" hypnosis exists, and I have known people it works on. I wouldn't say they acted in a way that made them seem out of control of themselves; rather, like compulsive roleplaying. You know you're yourself, but you are acting differently than you would. I have heard according to it you see what character you become in the mirror, though, and I think the mind is a powerful thing that it could play that trick on someone. I want to try it out sometime myself, as I think it is very achievable in the right mindset. Becoming Nagito Komaeda could happen, and I wouldn't be surprised if people have already hypnotized themselves to do it.

Great video, but just to clear something up: the Hiyoko survivor thing is not a rumor. It's from an interview with Kodaka in the Super Danganronpa 2 setting guide/art book that released in 2012. There he mentions the original plans for the story where Fuyuhiko would become a robot and later die, Nekomaru would die in chapter 3, and Hiyoko would survive to the end. When he changed it so Nekomaru became a robot instead, he shifted things around so that Hiyoko died in chapter 3 and Fuyuhiko survived. The relevant quote from Kodaka: 結果的に弐大をロボットにしようと決めました。弐大はもともと３章で死ぬ予定だったので、それを西園寺に代えて、ロボットになって死ぬはずだった九頭龍が最後まで生き残ったという流れです。 Full context can be found on page 197 of the art book. It has never been translated which is probably why you had so much trouble finding the source with google.

Hi, it's me the out of bounds guy ! I didn't knew this channel and i'm glad to discover it that way ! :D This video was really interesting to watch, i learn a few things ! I'm a big danganronpa fan, i played the 4 games for the first time 1 year ago aproximately and it's now one of my favorite video game license. My video you can see in this one isn't actually the first one to cover this exact bug and object, i did a previous video named "Danganronpa 2 : Goodbye despair Un bug et un objet mystérieux !" where i talk about it in august 2019 (back when i was still playing Danganronpa 2 for the first time) but it was in french (so not easly accessible for the international community) and my talk don't add anything really interessting to the original footage (so you can still watch it if you understand french but you wont learn a lot about the bug or the object themselves), so i uploaded another video a few time after but without me saying anything (that's the one you know about). If someone have an idea of what is this object i'll be really glad to ear it (for me it look like a reverse red bulb on a plate) This bug happened to me in almost every 3D areas but not every time, i didn't do anything special to my knowledge to make it happen (like i said it was my first, and only to that day, playtrough) If anyone have any question i can try to respond it but you probably have understood now that i might be the one wich is the most confused about it between us all. the monokubs were created purely to sell merch and bcus of there being a new monokuma in every installment. thats the irl reason AND the lore reason. monokuma himself asks why they existed, so im prettty sure the developers were aware of the monukubs not having a purpose. their relevance to the plot just ties in with v3 being fiction; it's saying that the games would eventually have dumb reasons on why new monokumas are made, like monokuma having children for some reason.

On behalf of the cosplay community, we still don’t let the people who walked on graves live it down People still jab at them (they have insta again + tiktok, so they’re public) But anyways, I do have a particular theory/analysis I’d like to bring up regarding the idea that Hajime could have been a victim/that Nagito was going to kill him. To start: I don’t think Nagito planned to kill anyone, especially not Hajime. In fact, I think he was trying to get *himself* killed. My explanation: 1. At the start of the party, Nagito makes an offhand comment to Hajime about the carpet and how it doesn’t reach some of the floorboards. Like I said, I think he was planning to get himself killed by teruteru. The gap in the floorboards and such were a vital bit of evidence in the trial. I think he was trying to give Hajime a hint for the future trial for after he was killed (So Hajime could better find the killer) And I think it was Hajime specifically on purpose (seeing as he didn’t give the “clue “ to anyone else) Based off their relationship at the start, I think Nagito saw potential in Hajime in the sense that he could lead everyone else as some form of shining hope. Seeing as teru didn’t stop, it’s safe to assume nagito figured “well damn, no one else seemed to be keeping this guy in check. If I die, I can’t do it myself. So I’ll take him down with me!” In a sense, it was killing three birds with one stone. Which brings me to my next point 3. Nagitos goal and hopes for this whole thing. I think that in his mind he figured: 1. He’d be able to get rid of the pervert, who as far as he was concerned, was likely willing to in some way assault someone/some other bad thing (due to teru nearly tricking sonia into sucking him off) No problems for him there (This is of course also implying he knew well and good teru couldn’t get away with murder and would be executed- and even if he didn’t? Nagitos “despair becomes hope” ideology would still stand for Teru, even if he didn’t like him) 2. He’d be able to start off the killing game. It’s like he said in the trial Or whenever, his main goal was to start the killing game no matter what. That way hope would come from despair (ect-) (also him wanting to be a stepping stone and thinking that this was the best way how, works for both this point and my next one) 3. He’d finally be able to break from his luck cycle. This goal was a bit more personal to him in the sense of “he wanted to die” His luck has hurt him and everyone around him all his life, a part of him probably figured “If I die, I can’t hurt anyone else with my luck- especially not these symbols of hope that I care about so much” There’s more to that part of his character, but this is already as long as it is. Oh, for extra evidence: he was clearly guilty about togami dying. Again, implying he didn’t plan for it and thought he’d die instead. He seems slightly uncomfortable when they’re in Togamis cabin, investigating. After that, he tells Hajime he needs time to himself to think, likely to process his guilt about his luck (as he sees it) killing someone yet again Also- this is Nagito- I doubt his way of killing someone would be “haha stab nearest person-“ seeing as it’d make it incredibly obvious it was him who did it. Not to mention the glowing paint could be a dead giveaway to anyone nearby to back away, if they were paying attention. Tdlr I guess: I don’t think Nagito was ever trying to kill Hajime or anyone else else other than himself (and teru I guess, seeing as he targeted him)

Ya, this definitely makes sense. I mean, Nagito is blatantly suicidal. He repeatedly and openly expresses the desire to die for the sake of everyone else, outright inviting other people to go ahead and kill him. This honestly makes the most sense with his character.

To "back up" the theory about V3 being rushed and all. I've noticed through my numerous playthrough that a very large amount of the CGs contain alot of errors, missing elements, hastily put together elements or like you said just oddly proportioned poses. Which if you can combine with the game's controls being wonky and a portion of the fanbase's reaction to the last two chapter and them feeling "rushed", I feel like those elements could support the argument. But then again given how much content is put into the post game i feel like the actual point that should be made is that it was sloppily put together rather then rushed. Im still kind of shocked to be honest that ive seen practically noone talk about the "repurposed" Junko sprite that was used in I think chapter 5 where the player sees her (Tsumugi's) darkened silhouette thats facing Motherkuma. And how if you even slightly focus on it or crank up the brightness a little you can see that its really just a badly drawn over base Junko sprite that's colored on top of her face, knuckles and boots, but that still keeps its normal front facing position which makes it look incredibly weird and off

The naked Mahiru image reminds me of that moment from Mikan’s Execution, where if you freeze frame the part just before Mikan gets launched into space, you can actually see that Mikan is naked, but because the image quickly pans up to her face, you’ll barely have the reaction time to notice that. I guess that was intentional, so that the game wouldn’t get an Adult rating in Japan.
