Fact of the matter about Tebas: He is incredibly popular amongst 16 out of 20 Laliga clubs. Most of the smaller clubs near bankruptcy have revived under him. He is always elected by 18 clubs excluding Real Madrid and Athletic bilbao. Barcelona ALWAYS votes for Tebas, especially Laporta. Tebas is historically anti-Perez in his history as a Madrid fan. Perez and Tebas have many legal battles. This myth that Tebas is a puppet of perez is just a made up thing pushed by Laporta PR who himself tries to appease Tebas in every Laliga voting. Most english speakers only look at the Aggregators who selectively translate some news over the others, curated by some people.
