This movie is great. Yes, it's low budget. I was amazed that they got the main stars. Cathy, Devane, Jacekel, and Wynn. And Kasem as a doctor. To even be in this movie. As corny as it is. I first saw this movie in LA (Redondo Beach). In 1978, 79 - they had 2 cable channels. At least, in the South Bay area there. They only showed movies from like 6pm till 1pm. There were only 2 movies they'd show, that's it. And they'd play them for a couple weeks in a row. So we'd get stoned and watch this movie almost everyday. Always talking about, "Finding your butt with both hands", or "Mangler's a zombies". "UP Yours". "The perfect place"... Was in my 20's then. Surfing, hanging on the beach. Remember seeing the movie "10" with Dudley Moore, Bo Derek - the same way. Drinking, "Double Dons" all the time. Oh, to be young. And I believe, the blind guy is the alien. But he, can do weird things. Like attacking "De Renzy", through the mirror. Shooting the weird rays from his eyes. Ripping heads off. That's what I thought, made the movie. The unknown stuff. And Cathy is, YUMMY. That was a girl who knew what she liked. In real life, that is. But in all it's greatness. It's amazing how the writer thought...I'll end it by lighting the alien on fire. Like Frankenstein. And he'll just disappear. No questions answered. I'll leave it, to the viewer. And when Cathy says,..."What do you want? Really, you have to ask? Classic. Thanks for the memories...

Look for future "MIAMI VICE" co-star, Phillip Micheal Thomas, who appears in a scene.
