Man I love this guy's enthusiasm for the role, his dedication(if you can find one of the earlier interviews he said he didn't know how to swim so he taught himself during breaks in the hotel's pool) and just his delivery of lines in the movie, when Aquaman pierced his father you could feel the pain in his voice when he screamed and later anger once he obtained the suit and went to battle. Hope to see him in more DC movies in the future and movies in general.

Black Manta was awesome in the film. I very much look forward to seeing more of him in the sequel. Black Manta was always a favorite of mine. I was introduced to him long ago when he was part of the Legion of Doom on Challenge of the Superfriends. Back then, I thought he was an alien, lol! I later discovered the character in comic book back issues of Aquaman. It was very satisfying to see him done so well in live action! Very satisfying indeed.

They didn’t really dive too deep (pun intended) into Black Manta’s intelligence. In the comics manta created the armor himself with no help from orm. I mean I guess they showed he could modify it on his own, just wish they did more but I guess that’s what the sequels for.

His grandfather's knife is not Atlantean steel. Black Manta is able to stabbed Aquaman with his grandfather's knife is because he stabbed him earlier with an Atlantean steel blade and then he stabbed him at the same spot he stabbed earlier.

Le vaisseau marin de black Manta est trop cool, mais pour moi il y a une grande incohérence? Depuis combien de temps le grand-père de cet homme avait des relations avec les Atlantes et d'après la télévision là où Aquaman buvait une bière la télé avait annoncé que la Navy était aussi concerné dans le même cas au sujet de ce vaisseau sous-marin et pour ne rien arranger du tout le couteau qui a été transmis qui était tout à fait dérivé d'un atlante la question est depuis combien de temps déjà il y a des relations dans deux mondes qui ne sont pas du genre à dire les Terriens diront lundi n'existe pas les Atlantes diront la surface est mauvaise dans tous les cas la discrétion et isolation est présente après tout comment cela peut-il arriver sans tricher, il y a beaucoup de personnes qui ne seraient pas de cet avis mais je demande si beaucoup d'autres personnes comprendront que les incohérences sont à la fois pas logique et pourtant indispensable pour l'histoire
