The 'Dark Intruder' Woos Female Osprey with Fish - Loch of the Lowes Webcam (2024)

With the 'Dark Intruder' osprey having seemingly secured the territory, one of his roles as the male is prove that he can bring in enough fish to support a family. Female NC0 has been 'encouraging' him to show his worth by food begging. As a young male he is still getting to grips with what is expected with him - sometimes getting the timings and placement of the fish a bit wrong.
However, he is making progress and on Sunday 19th May he delivered not just one, but three (small) fish to the nest to a very vocal NC0.
Things are looking up for this pair!
