The beginning of this track is the actual piece used in the film, when Blake goes to the Wayne Manor to speak to Bruce. It was not released in the OST for the film. I've almost gone crazy at the time looking for that tune, it fits so well in the scene.

This song is a perfect summary of Bruce's journey in TDKR. First the retired and restless old Bruce at his manor, then the Return of the Dark Knight. The fire rises and he has his inevitable clash with Bane and falls. Then his final sacrifice for Gotham and he again Rises.

The unreleased theme suites by Hans Zimmer are far better than the OST. This has supplanted in my mind the original "The Dark Knight Rises" soundtrack. Unedited Hans Zimmer is far better.
