I always love it when doppelgangers aren't just evil versions of characters, but instead a manifestation or metaphor for the character's flaws and mistakes. That's why Nega Scott in the comics is the best. He isn't really inheritedly evil, just a result of Scott trying to run away from his past and the worst traits about him, especially with the way he dumped Kim. When Scott stopped fighting after that vison of Ramona, Nega Scott did too because they are one of the same and he ultimately let Scott absorb him, the literally representation of accepting the flaws and mistakes you made in order to become a better person
