The answer is simple: Of course Jinto is not an intellectual giant. The fact is that all the other people on the show ganged up against and went on to bully Jinto and that directed the audience’ sympathy to Jinto. By the way, to think that Jinto generated a fart on demand is ridiculous. Farting is involuntary. Other participants in the show were worse and most of them were bullies. Jinto was only comparatively better.
