While I agree with her explanation on waist beads, some part is not entirely true. Waist beads are for beautification - they were never meant to be seen when worn. If you ask Africans, Ghanaians to be exact, born in the 1920s, they will tell you that they wore the beads because that was how they could keep their cloths, aka their underwear, up. Since there was no underwear, like we have now, the cloths would wrap around the beads, and the beads were the "thread" to hold them up. In Ghana, waist beads are part of the culture from young to old, and again, as mentioned, they are NOT to be seen. If you are a baby, sure, it's okay, but as you hit puberty and choose to wear them, you are trained not to show them. If you are married and wear them, it is for you and your husband to enjoy. So, to be clear, waist beads are not demonic. It is part of a culture. Now, if you bless the beads and such and use them counter to the clean original purpose, that is between you, God, and the other spirits you are dealing with. Let's not burn the house down while putting out the fire.

Because she kept saying she was having all this bad luck and people dying young in her family. I ended up buying the book and when I tell you this book is eye opening. It go overs things that your parents might have done or even things you might have done such as engaging in horoscopes, celebrating Halloween, receiving gifts and not praying over it before opening it etc that in doing so you can open yourself to be binded into a demonic covenant. My mother nurtured and nourished me. I was dependent upon her for food, clothing, and shelter. Assuming you’re asking the difference between light and dark….light is where there is the ability to see and dark is the opposite the ability where you can’t see….same concept of turning a light switch on and off….same room whether it’s on or off. I really liked what she said about having a relationship with Jesus and knowing Him and how she distinguished between having a relationship with Christ and merely knowing who Christ is. She pointed out there’s a significant difference between the two, and I appreciate how she explained it. Her point about regularly reading Scripture really stood out. She essentially said that if you’re not consistently in the Word, you don’t truly know God and can’t claim to have a genuine relationship with Him. If you’re only praying without reading your Bible, you’re having a one-sided conversation with God. And imagine if you’re not even praying regularly-then you’re completely out of fellowship.

About 10 years ago my Mom conviced me to go to a lzdy to do reiki done to me, and 41 years ago I had a psychic lady read me and she said I would have 2 kids in my mid 20's and anotner child in my 30's. I want to correct the Lady, many cultures in Africa and beyond have women who wear waist beads for various cultural beliefs. If you check online Wikipedia will tell you beads originated in Egypt, which is incorrect. Most African cultures have their women wearing beads since time immemorial. Nobody knows who started what and when and mind you we have similarities in our cultures across Africa and beyond. If it's against the 66 books we don't accept. But ask yourselves this, when the bible was brought to you, what did you hold it up against??? Exactly, nothing. We believed everything blindly. We don't know who penned the books. John, Matthew, Luke are not Hebrew names, matter of fact none of the manuscript had names on them, rome just added some names. Many don't even have the history of events that led to the 66 books coming into existence. But we walk around barking like we know something, then with the same tongue say, we live by faith. We'll living by faith means that you are placing trust and hope with no evidence. So you don't really know, but we are quick to say I know this I know that. You know what else, that's OK. So doee the other person with a different belief, he is placing his hopes in what he reads taking them to be truth. So we are all moving by faith and experience. We have no room to argue. One person who is living by blind faith, argues with another living by blind faith about things they can't prove. That's Ludacris.
