Good video man. It’s an addiction that can ruin lives and not enough entrepreneurs and organizations trying to tackle the problem. “They” want populations addicted to games, working necessary but less than ideal jobs, and dopamine depleted, lethargic, and easy to influence and distract. “Keep em happy with drugs and computer games”

PUBG mobile is the most addictive battle royal game. I have spent 4 thousand us dollars on in game cosmetics in just 2 years. Adding cosmetics in the game is just like adding fuel to the fire. I relaised that my real life is deteriorating. When you own expensive rare skins inside game, it gives you a feeling that you have achieved something but in real world you didn’t make any progress. I was totally lost in this virtual world. PUBG mobile also serves as a platform of social media so you don’t feel lonely but in real world the situation is exactly opposite. These games also make a person more materialistic and players began to show off their expensive rare gun skins outfits and sports car skins in front of other players. My eyes were opened after watching your videos. Your videos helped me to conquer my gaming addiction. Thank you big brother.

Well done, had problems myself and when i quit gaming only good things came out of it. Its also worrying theres a strong denial among people with gaming. Maybe not everyone but from what i see around me it seems that its a growing problem.

I was playing games a lot, but not like 16 hours a day. During week days, it was 3-4 hours and it was not everyday. I played a lot in weekends. I was not addicted like the ones being mentioned in the video. But even this made me realize that I gain nothing playing video games. Everytime I tried to play game, I ended up asking "what am I doing now, what will achieveing this game give me". After sometime, gaming is totally gone, I cant play games anymore. Achieveing something in real life, doing charity, feeling the life itself, responsibilities to the family makes gaming even more redundant, pointless and insignificant. So I think, giving some responsibilities to the kid even if you know he will fail, is a good precaution to make him not fall into games.

You're not supposed to gain anything out of them. They're entertainment, nothing more. Just like seeing movies or playing cards
@erdinc73322 күн бұрын
@@altair-x It is not entertainment actually, since gradually decreases your life quality and increase stress and anger. Of course not every game does this. Besides, if you invest that much of time to another thing which actually adds value to you life or your soul you will gain much more in long term. Entertainment itself is a tricky concept.

@@erdinc733 "since gradually decreases your life quality and increase stress and anger." No it does not, where's the emperical evidence for this?
@erdinc73322 күн бұрын
@@altair-x Evidence is everywhere. Enjoying something does not mean it is good, there are not much addicted people who will say their addiction is actually bad, since they love what they do. But if they hold himself back a little time, life choice questions starts to spin in their heads. Believe me, thousands of hours lost on entertainment is not entertainment, it is betrayal to your capabilities and family.

So only 1-3% are addicted to video games, while the other 97-99 aren't. that suggest a self-control problem. i mean, 80-90% of those who smoke regularly are addicted. why don't we see the same with gamers who play games every single day?
@MillBRoo22 күн бұрын
I doubt it's 1-3 other wise I don't think competitive games would really be much of a thing, or more popular than single player

Gambling is not a self control issue so neither is gaming. Both use similar strategies with the only difference being the form of the reward. Some have problems with it some don't but that doesn't mean that the problem doesn't exist
@michael259221 күн бұрын
What about drinking? Many people drink regularly and don't have an alchohol problem. Does that mean alcoholism isn't a real addiction? No.
@altair-x21 күн бұрын
@@michael2592 There're things to consider here. 1. there are far more people who are addicted to drinking than there are to video games. 2. alcohol is a toxin, video games are not. 3. Alcohol have caused far more destruction in our society than video games ever will. The idea is that, if the percentage is so low. Then that suggest a self-control problem. Since video games do not seem to a n addictive substance, compared to smoking and drinking.
