Fam, people don't understand that you have to FOLLOW THE MONEY. The real-life money. Hear me out. GTA launches. People pay for the game. The money flows in, all is good, Rockstar are happy. GTA Online- early days, not much in the way of businesses or heists, so people literally have to resort to robbing shops to make cash. But that's good for Rockstar, cuz people, being fed up with that slow grind, turn to Sharkcards. The money flows in, all is good, Rockstar are happy. But, as time passes, and some people leave the game, Rockstar are forced to introduce grinding methods, so people can actually earn GTA cash AND be willing to stay and play the game. Otherwise, with no players, it's a dead game, and a dead game will no longer get you money. So at this point, Rockstar decides: Fuck it, add mod menues. That Rockstar itself sells. People buy them, so the money flows in, all is good, Rockstar are happy. And Rockstar doesn't give a shit that normal players are getting their experience ruined. Why? Because the *IMPORTANT* people are the people that pay- And modders PAY for their mods. And even if you say: Well, R* doesn't officially sell mods - To you I say: grow up. The companies that sell the mod menues are either facades for Rockstar, OR partnered to give a cut of the revenue to Rockstar. THIS is why modders are not banned. THIS is why glitch-users are banned: Because the glitch lets ANYONE get GTA cash, and tons of it, WITHOUT having to pay actual money. Do you get it? When a modder comes in your game, kills you, cages you, and then finally kicks you, I want you to remember that feeling. I want you to remember how big of a piece of shit the modder is. And then I want you to remember that Rockstar LOVES that modder, and FUCKING HATES YOU. Because HE paid, and YOU just play the game without paying. REMEMBER THAT.

Point being they keep on top of shit, they don't suddenly step in when they're making little money from something. They have no interest in making changes unless they are forced to by lack of income.

There was a modder in my lobby a while ago, he sent my IP in the chat and after 10 min my internet was gone. It was gone for over 2 days and no one in my family could use it. Luckely my internet company saw where the packets came from and tracked him down. The person who did it was an 13 year old boy from the US who had a mod menu and a bot net. We got some money from them but this shows how easy it is to do really harmful things, even for a 13 year old.

There is absolutely 0 ways an internet company can track down *packets* that was sent from a 3rd party software (R* Games). Aside from free money, I have met one modder (one!), who used one single thing in the sessions and nothing else and it is a positive thing: he removed the player icons from the map and hid the name-tags for everybody, saying, he likes peaceful but full sessions and that's the best way to get them. And he was damn right, that session was a lot more peaceful and people could do their sh!t almost undisturbed. To go for PvP people had to either talk or really search LS by themselves without any map indicator. Money hack, bah, hiding player dots and removing name-tags is the real sh!t and the best thing a modder can do to a session. But hell, it was one in thousands in my game time. One decent modder with a hell good idea.

Thanks alot TGG for addressing this as Rockstar never reaches out to its players. GTA Online is fun, alone and with friends, but modders and hackers roam the game. The BS behind is that us normal players get suspended/banned for literally doing nothing. While 60% of modders are still playing the game without getting banned. I personally hate this because recently i got suspended for entirely no reason. Ive never used cheats and I only play the game with my friends. But everytime i play there is that ONE 6 year old who ruins the fun.I really hope they go through their suspensions/bans because some players are just trying to have fun and gets banned/suspended. 😥😥

I was really excited to see this video and see someone talking about it and I was thinking “I wonder how old this video is? I wonder how long it would take to change the game as it is now.” And then I saw this is a year old. 🥺 I’m not sure it will ever change which is awful. I have gotten back into the game recently and without any exaggeration, I have seen at least one modder in every. single. lobby. Sometimes there’s multiple modders fighting each other. I’ve met probably 2 nice modders, one who just spawned a bunch of crazy vehicles for us to try out, and the other who just harmlessly followed my friends and I while we were prepping a heist and helped us take out cops and stuff. But for the most part, it’s just terrible and we always have to swap lobbies or even make friend only ones. Once the hacker takes an interest in you, there’s nothing you can do. :c

I know exactly what you are talking about. However one unfortunate thing is that one of the only ways to counter these modders is to get a menu of your own. So a team of fiends and I worked together to build a menu that does nothing but block other modders from joining sessions and nothing else.

I wish R* would just give us everything from Public Lobby that we could do in Invite Only without having to trick the game into being a solo server that can get filled quickly and have to reset it back to a solo lobby. Best way to deal with modders is don't react to them in any way. For me, 9 times outta 10, they get bored and go harass someone who'll give them a reaction. For that last 10%, just go to another session. Also best not to interact with anyone in chat unless it's a just a few grinders leaving each other alone (this is actually most online sessions I end up in). Edit: Remember, just because someone throws you a ball doesn't mean you have to catch it.

Go into gta 5 online, alt tab then : 1. Open task manager 2. open Resource Monitor 3. Search for gta5.exe 4. Right click on it - > suspend process 5. Wait 10 sec ( or instantly) 6. Resume process 7. One main problem is that GTA Online uses peer to peer servers instead of dedicated servers. That is one reason mod menus work so extremely well in GTA Online. If they would use dedicated servers this problem would not even exist on this scale.

@@GRAVYGATOR I earned over $200k doing gerald missions in about 40 minutes and did some other heists, got 4mili and bought a submarine and a sparrow with it and now Im doing cayo perico, as a solo player u can get from 1-$1.5m in about 45 min to an hour, so u do 3,4 or 5 heists a day, have bunker running, nightclub, crates etc.. U can easily earn over 6 mil a day as a solo player. Just grind

That's the reason why I mostly play solo. I'm in a public lobby only when I play with my friends. I really don't have time or will to fight with players on Opressors which are trying to shoot you every five minutes while you mind your own business. I also had bad experience with modders, like spawning planes on top of my head, or totally blocking me from registering or even playing CEO missions. Also don't forget game crashes every now and then, and then waiting five minutes for GTA online to load. So yeah, solo it is for me.

"The killing everyone in the lobby" is actually a very serious stuff coz all other players will start reporting you and then there is a chance that your account might get flagged or even worse, as stated in the video, get banned. I had a similar experience but I exited the session immediately and nothing happened luckily.

ok so i am "modder" i guess, i have a menu but i dont do anything with it except use protections against bad modders, but this is besides the point, point is most mod menus now have extended protections, for ex u can stop another modder from crashing u or freezing u ect, but there are options to crash, kick from lobby, and pu kick, anyone who tries to report u, and this is an automatic default option, before they are able to finish there report, they are gone, so just be aware, id still try to report but just know that some high $ menus have report protections! i know that this about the blame lobby shit, im just sayin that be carful who u report cause u can be kicked, crashed or booted off of wifi

I got a mod menu 2 days ago, and it’s all because of every time I join a lobby on pc almost everyone is godmode and they are trolling/griefing. Game is unplayable normally cause so many people mod. I use my mod menu for fun as in driving Mach 10, sky launching myself, and trolling kidders that are trolling normal players.
