@@thatbritabroad thanks for the kindness brother. Will hit you back. Immediately see Jett’s Phuket in a thumbnail. Nice place to train

@@bobby_thompson yes decent gym, I do prefer independent gyms though. Was training at muscle factory few weeks back 💪🏼

Yea tbh I wasn’t overly impressed by most Phuket gyms. Only decent ones are the overpriced tourist traps. MF is the best in Thailand IMO

Agree with you mate. I'm from London, been coming here for 20 years, been living here for 3. In my early 40's now, got a wife and a boy here. She got her masters, working as an accountant (before the haters chime in). Seeing the young Isaan girls with the lung farang draped all over them is never comfortable, but I feel like there are more and more normal/real relationships now than previously. Keep it up, new sub here

Nice to hear from you mate. From Manchester myself. Yeah there is definitely a shift and seems to be more regular couples around. Hopefully that trend continues. And even the night life etc is generally harmless. It’s just those isolated, exaggerated examples of it that can be uneasy to see. Have a good one and thanks for the support

Westerners also shouldn't place western ideas and morality onto other cultures. But outside the economic pressures there is a clear dichotomy in Buddhism that allows certain women to do these things without the social stigma. It's hard to understand if you grew up in the West.
@bobby_thompson2 ай бұрын
I respect what you’re saying but I look at things from a father’s perspective more than a western one and learn about the culture from my Thai Buddhist wife. While I know there will be a wide variety of different situations at play, with regard to the younger girls especially whatever the circumstances it can still be very hard to see.

@@bobby_thompson Well agreed on the younger girls, that's just sad.

Your video isn't bad, but you have a lot of judgement. It comes off as kind of strange. I could very easily judge you for not learning to read / speak Thai as someone who says they're here for the long haul. Perhaps drop the judgement and show the beauty of Ayutthaya next time?
@bobby_thompson2 ай бұрын
Respectfully sir… it’s a topic for one video & I would say it’s more fact rather than judgment. As the father of a baby girl growing up here it’s something I think is very sad. Perhaps we have different perspectives and you are entitled to your own opinion. Have a nice day

@@bobby_thompson i also have kids in thailand, including a daughter, and yes it's never a good thing. But seriously, I didn't think it was a bad video, I just thought it came off as judgemental. I think Ayutthaya is a spectacular place, you should show it off more next time :) It's just helpful advice here. I'd recommend brushing up on your Thai, though! It never hurts :)

I tell my partner all the time to make sure that her children never have the burden of looking after her financially. She is very capable of saving enough money to make a basic retirement if she is responsible and works hard. She must stop the cycle that forces the next generation into poverty. Unfortunately this goes against the culture and I am well aware that her parents expect her to look after them and build them a new house etc etc. It's not so much their fault but it's just the way it is. Then of course the easiest money to made is that in the sex industry so that's why so many find themselves in this job or looking for an easy meal ticket with a farang. The girls then often associating with people who encourage bad habits like drinking, partying and gambling just like anywhere in the world. I don't have a problem with any of these jobs but it is sad when the people that are supposed to love you the most are the ones that are pushing you to make more money. By the way I think your spot on with your observations and those that have nothing positive to say should say nothing😛
@bobby_thompson2 ай бұрын
Don’t think I’ve ever read on comment on here that mirrors my own feeling so much mate! And I think the key word is “cycle” yea… some people never have a chance to establish themselves properly in life as all of their earnings are going elsewhere as soon as they get started. Thankfully my wife is very like minded and sees the flaws in that philosophy so I’m lucky in that regard and as for the other stuff yeah I agree. Not nice to see IMO but a consequence of the expectations

Was really hoping for some true dark side secrets but instead just got the very obvious ones. And again very male centric experience wise Tell the world about the real dark sides that they may not know about, like extreme road accidents or something else other than “ya people exploit people “ Of course they do. It has always been that way in every society across the entirety of humanity
@bobby_thompson2 ай бұрын
A fair observation. Obviously my POV is male centric as I am male. Do you think if I were female I would view these things differently? And I know most people are aware of what happens, and if all is mutual/respectful, as I said I have no issue with anything, but I look at things nowadays more from a father’s perspective rather than a male one and that is where the real sadness is. As you say, because it’s so obvious to most I think people become desensitized to what is actually happening and just write it off as another farang with a bar girl where as I’m thinking what has led that young girl down that path. Anyway. Respectfully. Thanks and Have a nice day

@freyafoxmusic Why don‘t you make your own videos about topics that concerns you,..All the videos on youtube are not always what we’re hoping on. But we suck it up and move along or really don‘t mind it that much,..lol,.. Cheers,..Have a great day 😄

This is not a dark side fact of thailand but a general issue and mostly a bubble steming from a lack of development/social skills of which this whole redpill movement gets stuck in this cycle. It's a global issue of superficial relationships and lack awareness... If you talk to most of these guys and ask where did you meet? On tinder from abroad, at a bar, at a party place... what you expect lol. Similar, what do you actually communicate about? Can you communicate? Do you share any interests... some basic relational things. But most, no, she just cute and hot. There you get your basic transactional relationship with 0 depth.
@bobby_thompson2 ай бұрын
Absolutely agree. I don’t think any of these couples are writing beautiful love stories! I think a lot of the guys lose perspective due to the fact the girl is pretty and a lot of them seem like they are past caring about perspective anyway. The girl gets what she wants out of it but is that really how she wants to spend her life?
