Thank you for your detailed information regarding, Nepalese, overseas. Once, went to New York's subway with my working colleague, where we met a former colleague and his wife, with a trolley selling, trinkets and gifts. We had a lot of catching up to do and we suggested that why don't we go for a beer? He kindly declined the offer, stating he couldn't afford it and that the Sunday he was off was the only time he could meet his wife, due to work schedules, although they were still living in the same apartment. We offered to pay for the drink, but he still refused. We accepted his reasoning and realized that the grass is not always green on the other side. (Costs of beer, at the supermarket US$2, per can, and at the cafeteria and bar US$7.)

Nepalese have been going abroad before World War II but there isn't much data recorded at that time. Nepalese residing in Thailand, Bhutan are proof. At that time also many Nepalese went abroad for search of opportunity because there were not much here to do in Nepal back then. There is not any thing wrong going abroad for search of opportunity.
